I'm way too straight myself to enjoy this even in theory (I mean, why would you, when you could have a man?  LOL)  But even so, they could have made Isabela more appealing.  Or is that just me?

Then again, I feel no need for more male 3-ways, either.  Like I said, Morri has the right idea.  Sharing toys is for grade school.  Posted Image

I like Isabela because she reminds of Bella, who I might never not romance if she was an option. I'm also a sucker for nautical-themed double entendres, I guess.

Have I mentioned before that DA has made me realize that I'm like at least a solid 2 on the Kinsey Scale? I caught myself Posted Image over Leliana getting a decap the other night and I always blush a little when she starts going on about my PC's hair.

Seriously, would it have killed them to shorten the arms on the dwarf models, instead of using regular arms? OOF!

Their legs are disproportionate too! It's like they squished the torso down and called it good.

I've tried starting a dwarf origin like 5 times, and never make it through the origin. I really can't stand looking at that nonstop!

I know. I can't believe no modders have attacked this stuff. But aside from the arms, the rest depends on the armor model. the one I'm wearing now is strange for sure. But until I can find a nice set that looks like what she started in, I'm pretty much stuck. Massive she looks like a frackin' turtle!

While we're complaining about design decisions, I really wish that staves and greatswords sat diagonally across the back, or were shorter, to avoid clipping. It irks me to be following my mage and watch her angles get clipped every step she takes. It's even worse with a warrior. I tried 2H but I was getting skeeved at the repeated sight of blade through the leg.

Or in cutscenes, when you bend over and they stick straight up in the air.  No gravity in Ferelden!

When I used to have my PCs duel Loghain, I always thought they'd get back together with Isabela after the Blight and have a laugh about how she (Isabela) helped save the kingdom.

Heh, well you know I am immune to those charms, too.  The hair thing is one of the reasons my PC makes a wide arc around that end of camp.  Maybe if I understood Leliana's appeal, I'd understand why people write Cullen fanfiction.

If I have a... what is the female equivalent of bromance, anyway?... with any female NPC in the game, it's Morrigan or Sigrun. But not blush-inducing.  The idea of two women or two men canoodling has about all the buzz of someone sticking an elbow in another person's armpit.  It induces confusion more than anything.  LOL

I think tmp has a mod that makes weapon sizes smaller.  Edit:  Rescaled Swords and Daggers.  Not sure if this would fix the problem you're talking about, though.

Normal again.

My suggestion is, if you're going to try a dwarf go with warrior for the most armor options. It really does make a difference as you try stuff on. I am getting used to the arms, but the rest at least can be changed in armors.

Edit: is it just me, or do the arms even seem to change with varying gloves?

This armor will just have to do I guess until I find heavy dwarven that looks right for her. I could live without this wasp waist *twitches and squirms*

Sometime I switch clothes with Jory or that cute guy that I can't remember his name right now. Alienware has a free shield give away (don't know if you already knew about it):

http://www.alienware...hield-giveaway/

That shield is worth about 16g in origins and it shows up in inventory when you make your character so I tend to sell it and buy whatever nifty armor is available off the Ostagar vendor, too. 90% of the game is looking good for screenshots, stats/cost be damned. =p

Girl crush, maybe? It's pretty non-romantic. I'd say my PCs have girl crushes on Morri and Sigrun, too, but it's not the same as what they would feel for Leliana. I know I have girl cruishes on the characters.

And I absolutely cannot explain my thing for Leliana. I am about as non-frivolous as they come, and am easily annoyed by bubbleheaded, appearance obssessed people. And yet, Leliana is just weird enough and accented enough that I can put aside such disdain.

BTW, you will notice the arms the most if you're just standing there. I assure you that most of the cutscenes in the game are from the shoulders up and when you're in battle, your arms are bent as you pull off your moves. You don't really notice the arms that much. Even after the tent with Alistair, the arms are bent as the PC twiddles her fingers. Might notice it a bit when Leliana sings because our PC is just standing there like an idiot. =p

TMP's hair mod is sooo good. I am eyeballing hairstyles I wouldn't have considered before because they're now more flattering to the dwarf head shape. I am so torn. Making dozens of dwarves and running them around in Orzammar while I get a "feel" for what I like best. Woo woo.

The other night in the Swooping is Bad IRC we somehow got into a discussion about DA and the TMNT and who would be who.

It was eventually decided that the PC had to be Leonardo since he/she is group leader, Zevran was Michelangelo, and Alistair had to be Donatello since he is the little pike-twirler.  :P

I totally agree! Yeah, I got the shield, it's pretty cool. But she's going dual, I just love dual wielding. She'll go S&S for awakening though. Hey, maybe you can help me. I talked to the noble hunters in my Origin, and they said something about Gorims armor showing he was single? I didn't understand it and it's bothering me. I made sure to read new codex entries as I went but there wasn't one for that.

Girl still needs her rp before I get out of Ostagar. So far she's bossy and taking over. Orzimmar is so going to be her first treaty, I think I can handle it easier having not seen it from this angle. I think she'll go for Alistair...or maybe Zev maybe both, in a love stinks i'm just out for fun kind of way at first.. Does Gorim get any impact with a love interest in the party?

I actually like Isabela. She's captain of a ship and a pirate! I even liked her looks the first time my PC met her (now that she's modded she looks more natural, did you know that the colour of her skin is typical for Rivaini?) and funny, I like her voice even though it's the same voice actor as Anora.

As a staunch supporter of the Exiled!Alistair/Isabela pairing I like to *cough* prepare him for this encounter by engaging him in a threesome.

Maybe it's because I do swoon over women sometimes, like Thirteen from House. Call me crazy. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

I'm too lazy to restart for a new hairstyle. I wish I had a good base .mrh to start with for a femdwarf. the preset I'm using didn't come with one sadly. I agree on the arms, I'm getting used to them. And now that I've swiped Sigrun's armor from Awakening for now, the only thing really bothering me is her dual swords clipping. they go THROUGH her butt cheeks...lol

I saw that group and considered joining it but then lost the page and got distracted. I've heard good things about it.

Yeah, I didn't realize she had the same voice as Anora until, like, a month ago. I knew that she and Bella share a VA, which explains the transference of affection.

I think nuns swoon over Olivia Wilde. She's unfairly gorgeous and I think it's the law that she has to be bisexual on every television show she appears on.

Also, there's a thread topic I have been ignoring most of the day. Oops!

After reading the Gamespot review of Darkspawn Chronicles... I want to play it even less than before, somehow. Sigh. This is such an assbackwards DLC, why do they waste resources on this rather than fixing their game and giving players fun and interesting DLC? If I wanted a combat based experience I could play Generic Fantasy Game #289438942834 which probably has better combat anyway....

It has something to do with defiling the Urn, I believe.

I like the Deep Roads, too, but not all in one go. I have to spread it out over a few trips. I usually do the Orzammar stuff near the beginning, just until I get Oghren and then return for the Anvil of the Void a few allies later.

Nope, the DN origin helped me to get into the background story and now I enjoy them.

I was talking to Kolgrim during the Ashes quest, and took the blood. Alistair was say "Bad idea! you remember what happened the last time you drank blood? only worse"
