It's not skeevy in that time period. The younger a woman was (once she wasn't a child, of course), the more likely she'd be to bear children without complication. Women were frequently married to older men, particularly if their parents wanted them to have some security. The only thing that makes this relationship unusual it the Eamon loved her, rather than simply acquiring an appropriate young woman to give him an heir.

Why do I never look in party events. That would mean that anything I did would effect charsen's kisses. Dangit.

Toolset lists Gorim as 18 which prompted "NO WAY" responses along with "damn, that's a lot of man for that age" type of reactions. =p

That is not the face of a 20 year old dwarf! Oghren looks younger rofl! (Mind you I Gorim...Aidan may never love again, just sayin). And I'm pretty sure our PC's are supposed to be close in age to Alistair, who is also 20.  HN is Fergus YOUNGER sibling, DN is the middle child, younger than Trian older than Behlen. And none are even close to being married yet, except the CE origin, so I'd say our pc's are supposed to be between 18-21.

I really wouldn't worry about it. It's a short scene, that only happens if you have the right person in your party, I hardly ever use Sten, alot don't.

:blink: Man male dwarves age quickly. That said he is still a fine fine man, and Aidan may never recover. Lucky for us Dwarven women seem to age pretty well! Look at Branka!

You kidding? I think freckles are ADORABLE!  I always make my Sims with them when I used to play Sims that is.

Thanks! I'm keeping those, I'm just trying to make her look like my original CC created one and it's not working. I want her to be cute, but intimidating...so far she's just all cute...lol

That could be the same thing they have Alistair in the Toolset listed at 30-odd even though he's supposed to be ~10 years younger in game -- these age entries are mostly intended for the VA person to give them rough idea what type of voice actor they should be looking for.

Bhelen looks as old, and he is your younger brother, It's hard to tell with dwarves. And since when is Alastair 20, who decided that? I thought 23-24.

I wouldn't think so, as they don't quite seem to fit and it would be kind of rubbing Sten's nose in it after he already got back in line.

I see the problem, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

I was thinking before he got back in line, I could make them appear, then give the PC the same options as before.

I didn't mean he's exactly 20, rather in the early twenties (20-odd). Though personally i'd be surprised if it was more than 21, 22 at the most.

Depends on the PC background, in a number of them PC of that age would be sort of a spinster and it wouldn't work too well given other factors (position in the family etc)

Yes, but they apparently don't do so in public.  I tried to turn a Morrigan thread into a squee thread and the guys just weren't getting with it.  It's not in the file path, or whatever.  LOL

I had the same problem and it was because their default path for my game directory and my core override directory was slightly different than where it actually was on my computer. Just double check both of them to make sure the paths are right.

Its not working.  I can't even find override in the compiler program (when it asks me to set up the root directory).  I find packages and core but not override...*Facepalm* I think I know what I am doing wrong....Dang nope thought I did...I just can't figure that thing out at all

I got it to work, sylvan, though I also had to fiddle with it- I let the program set up subdirectories.  I checked in-game and it had compiled More Hairstyles with Tucked Hair (yay), so it worked.  Did you move your override folder or something??

Ok, Aidan 2.0 has survived the cut scene test I think. Though she looks almost human...I might tweak a bit. Alistair is watching for swooping again...

Yup, he's 21 according to the more or less accurate time table that Gaider once posted.  Cailan is suppose to be 25 at the time of Ostagar.

Heh, we lucked out with getting Steve Blum to voice both Gorim and Oghren, which makes their squabbling with each other in Denerim very amusing to watch when you know they're the same person.

While looking through the conversations in the toolset, I came across the line "Feeling a little thorny, are we?" when Alistair gives the PC the rose. The comment for his response for that line is "laughing, the player has just made a dirty joke". But I don't get it... Can anyone try to explain that to me?

Same, I was 21, married for 2 years, had an 18 month old and a newborn. You really can't compare modern day 21 to Dragon age 21, you were a grown up at a much younger age back then, not uncommon to be married and starting a family, and working by the time you were even 18. Earlier if female, women could marry as young as 14. My grandmother was 15 when she got married actually. And that was in the 1900's.
