They could happen young, though historically, people did not get married nearly as young as people have this notion. Especially for guys. But I figure Fergus got married around 20-ish, for whatever reason. I put it down to him falling madly in love and not an arranged marriage, and it's my story so I can do what I want. ^_^ Oriana pops out a kid and all is well in Castle Cousland.

hehe in my story it was love at first sight for Fergus and Oriana when he saw her in the Denerim market.  He even enlisted a 13 year old Valora's help getting her attention too.  Though Fergus didn't realize it was a "Chase her till she caught me" situation lol

I only said much more mature because isn't the warden, especially the HNF, very, very young?  Around 16 kinda age?  I was thinking it would suit him in his mid 30s Posted Image

I put the PC in the 18-22 range and Alistair is around 21.

I would do like sylvanaerie does and start him out as vanilla, then progress through to longer hair and more scruff as they're out on the road, but since I share my game with the spousal unit, I try not to flip mods too much.  He doesn't really like Maricstair, but since he's been doing things like exiling him and ignoring him lately, he has no Coercion points on that subject.  LOL

Black lines on light colored hair is from the way the game processes hair meshes. It even happens from time to time w/ Alistair's hair on certain backgrounds/lighting. It's no ones fault.  It's always there and if you look closely you can even see it on darker hair, it's just less noticable.

I usually have him duel Loghain even on my HNF but then it cuts to Eamon asking her to make a choice on Alistair/Anora ruling (if its the HNF or a HMN who arranged the wedding prior).  If I don't really care one way or the other I usually have him duel so I avoid the whole annoying Riordan BS.  If i want to control the situation, my PC does the dueling and I just esc through the crapola Riordan offer.

I should point out at this time that none of my PCs by the Landsmeet have NOT been in love with Alistair so the HNF is asked (as she has the "Love Flag" on her)
That may be the difference. I always duel, because I hate controlling Alistair (or anyone but my own pc). It's when I tell him HE should be the one to execute Loghain, he'll grab the crown.
As I have said a few times, if Alistair kills Loghain and is hardened, IF he is either in love (LOVE is the only status that counts here, NOT friendly or adore) with the HNF OR if he is engaged to Anora, the warden will STILL be able to choose the outcome.

Any other circumstance, Alistair will accept being king.
Oh I don't doubt you, I just never let him do it after that first experience with having the choice ripped out of my hands. :D

It would be an interesting story how Oriana ended up leaving Antiva.  She doesn't seem very Antivan at all- no accent and a bit of a prude- so maybe she was raised in Ferelden.

Heh, Lady Jess that is EXACTLY what I do as a noble because of that experience. I know it doesn't work out that way if we are in love, but you know what they say. Better safe than sorry!

Sigh, why can't freckles be done as a complexion or something instead of a tattoo. I want both:(

It can be done.  The freckles could be put on their own channel and the tattoo on the others.  Kind of like how the default tattoos have different tattoos on the different color channels.

Oh if you read her under fergus in the toolset, she's actually teasing, yet proper. A bit of both noble prude and antivan spice. Very good. If you say "no less than three please" her rection is

"such things would bring shame upon this house, but if you must do so, be discreet" (VO: Proper, but teasing at the end)
Fergus: I'm ...not sure how I should take that love"  (VO: taken aback that his proper wife woulf say such a thing)
Oriana: As the advice of a practical antivan woman, my dear (VO: Satisfied that she got a reaction)

I'm completely useless in such things...lol and the toolset of course only lets you use a single tattoo.

Edit: it didn't bother me to lose the freckles I had before, because they were really blotchy looking. but CS Freckles (http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=609) look better, now I want them again. But I <3 my "A is for Aeducan" tattoo. I just figure after a month topside, the girl would have freckled.

I get the feeling Fergus is the combat guy good with swords and armor and stuff but when it comes to girl world he's completely clueless (hence how he got snagged by Oriana in my fic).

One tattoo actually has four layers though.  Alpha + RGB which is why w/ my tattoos you could say color the rose, leaves and stem.  That's because the rose, leaves and stem are all on different color layers.  I use Alpha as the solid design so, people can get the black outline if they so desire.

What could be done is the freckles put on the Alpha and then the tattoo design on the RGB.  I would have to know what you want done.  I also, would have to be able to actually see if I can open a premade freckle design.  I've never made freckles.  Sadly I'm not all that fimilar w/ how they look naturally as I don't have them personally.
