So when I go home, I need to delete all my characters... down load the armors etc. and then make new characters? :{

what I usually do is
Disable the armor DLCs in the DLC table.  Remove any from my addins files that won't copy to a new game but save them on Desktop.
Go into game, create a PC.  Then go back to DLC table after playing to the first save on my game and enabling all the ones I disabled that I want and put back the ones I removed from my game back into the game.
Go into game and play with all the armors/weapons.
This is what works for me anyway.

Thanks I will try that.  do you think it will work if I save game after disable and remove - then quit, then load, then save. then enable, then load and save.... instead of haveing to remake charactersPosted Image??

In fact here's a little Yuki-stair love for you Yuki. Your mod looks nice with the black retint of GW Runic armor.

I'm sure he's able to cut his hair at camp, or have the PC, Leliana, Wynne, etc. do it. A quick trim would take less time than those little braids and such >:D

lol, I wrote that as part of my PC's story.  She cuts his hair for him.  it's cute.  ^_^

Also, yay for delicious angry Alistair!

Naturally.  -.-

I'll admit, I have a love for hair-cutting scenes. Probably a leftover of my anime/manga fandom, since there are always really cute haircut scenes ;w;

No, that usually doesn't work for me (believe me I have tried) but if you CAN get it to work for you, go for it!  I have also tried removing it from my game entirely and redownloading it from the site online and nope no dice...

On a side note: How long do you think have the journey through the deep roads taken in real time? I'm asking because I'm planning the draft for my FF currently, but I struggle to set a timespan for how long they have been down there. I mean it's a tremendously huge place and I doubt they could make it under two weeks out there. Or?

Thoughts?

I'm no expert on the lore, but I was always under the impression that the deep roads spanned an area as large as Thedas.  Given that, it really depends on how far they have to travel, which I don't believe is ever really touched on. I think two weeks is a fair estimate though.

Unfortunately it won't work.  You might get lucky and it will but I've been trying to do that my entire male  playthrough,  I want that damn armor lmao.

Don't remake your characters!  Maker, that would be quite a job and not worth the mods.  LOL

I was only talking about brand new characters.  I have found, at least, that if I have armor mods, they aren't showing up on new characters unless I uninstall and then re-install after the character has been created and has a game save.

Sometimes reinstalling it works for some mods, but a lot do require you to disable them during CC. Stupid, but this is to avoid the ever annoying duplication bug.

Yes, simply uninstalling, saving and re-installing does not seem to work if you had the mods running when the character was created.  After 1.03, that is.

But it has worked for me if I take the mods out before creating a new character.

No armor mods--> upload/create the new character and make a game save --> go back and re-install everything --> armor shows up in inventory.

I would say the Deep Roads might take like a month. Time is rough in this game b/c it takes about a year, but descriptions of how long it takes to get places...makes no sense. I bend the rules a but. For instance, I can't believe it only takes a day to get from Redcliffe to the tower. And then some route from Orzammar to the tower takes 19 days. Like, wtf?

It's the reason I've not been able to play as the other origins yet Posted Image lol

The Chancellor ending is just as good as the queen ending in my opinion. And it needs to quit being called "mistress". Alistair is NOT married. That makes you his love, but not his mistress. Calling it the mistress ending cheapens the relationship I think. He is as devoted to one as he is the other. You're not making do, you just aren't married. And I've seen long term non married relationships turn out just as well (in some cases better) than marriages.

ya but mountain travel isn't like level terrain or even taking a boat cut across the lake itself.  I can see it taking a day one way.

You know, browsing ff.net is forcing me to beg a question of all you who play as a HNF:

Does your character hate being a lady? I mean, really hate it? There are so many stories about Cousland's wanting nothing to do with all the fancy-stuff and I am wondering if my PC is the only one who really digs it?

Heck yeah. I might even spare Loghain and actually keep it as the canon save, who knows. I'm trying to play differently than I usually do :(

I cannot see that trip taking 1 day.  Unless maybe you take a boat across?  But that really makes no sense the way things are shown in game.  I'd put it at a round trip being like a week.  And yeah, mountains = longer times.  Which is why the Urn quest should take awhile b/c you have to climb a friggin' mountain.  Like, Genitivi, wtf?  Your leg is broken and you're going to climb a mountain.  If I ever get to take point in my fic, Lya is gonna be so mad at that man.  -.-

Thanks, so my assumption wasn't that wrong with two weeks, huh? Geez, I'm glad to have Shale at that point with me for all the food she has to carry for the merry bunch. Hungry GW is hungry. :lol: Though I suppose eating down there won't be a pleasure, last sleeping :? Guess this won't be happy dreams for Lenya/Alistair...

I imagine she would grow out of it, but tomboyishness is sort of written into the character, if you take Howe's jabs at you seriously.  Also Eleanor's comments about you whacking at practice dummies all day.

That doesn't mean you don't clean up nice, of course.  I grew up on a dairy farm so I spent a good part of my day in barn boots and being splattered with God-knows-what, but I also shudder to think of my hair gel budget in high school (it was the 80's, dontchaknow).  That's how I picture HNF, though the Blight leaves you little time for finery because you are never safe anywhere.  So I don't picture being out of armor much.  The first time Alistair sees HNF in a pretty dress he'd probably fall over.  Let alone in pretty... other things.  Posted Image

Mine didn't hate it. She (not that it's evident in my writing really) used it to her advantage as often as possible, and regardless of what the Grey Wardens say, always thought of herself as Lady Cousland, even telling Ser Perth to call her my lady. I'm playing my Aeducan the same way. I may be a grey warden, but who I am made me WHAT I am, and I refuse to put it aside.

Edit: Top of the page...
