Yeep, he is. You kinda want to take care of your own, too! He also has dwarf specific dialogue based on your noble or commoner origin when you ask him if he wants to go back to Orzammar (once your approval is high enough).

Oh cool. I Am back on my pre-assembly save. I'm so torn on what to do. Part of me knows what is going to happen to the city with harrowmont as king. But I cannot live with Bhelen getting away with what he did, and knowing in his hands he'd likely become a tyrannical dictator. I know I can possibly be named as his heir, but I /think/ that requires me returning to Orz after the battle, which would be in character for her, she is homesick (partly why I think Oghren is easier for me to have with me now), she loved her life even though she did want to be a grey warden, it's always going to be second for her. Then there's Alistair. Tentatively, she'll probably let him end things after the landsmeet, request aid as her boon, pray to the stone "still in love flag" remains and go home.

Or, be chancellor and go home, but that makes no sense.

@Zeleen those robes come with Improved Atmosphere from Dragonage Nexus. Its in a chest in the chantry in Haven. and they look absolutely gorgeous and have decent stats (for mage robes).



Has anyone seen a nice long hair mod (without the Cailan braid look) with the hair pulled back from the forehead that looks good on Alistair? cause I kind of like the Maric look. But in this pic you don't see the braids just get an impression his hair is longer than usual.

Wow it took me 1-1/2 hrs to get caught up!! I am going to disable, move addins, delete, create, download, enable, move files again .. Then I'm gonna play! ah the life!

Oh can you play DA and have the forum open at the same time? New to the PC version. It's been awhile since I've played on the PC. I have to say that the controls are easier on the xbox. But no great mods! so I play both.

It only causes streaker issues when you have it installed start a game and THEN uninstall it.  You find it changes a lot of the costuming in the game and those replaced outfits don't simply revert to the default, they just disappear.  I plan on removiing it prior to my next HN run cause I want to run the Ser Gilmore mod next time I play a Cousland and IA is incompatible with that *sigh* decisions decisions...

I don't knwo whats going on I followed the dialogue tree as she posted it and when I said sure join us Alistair did his "WHAT? so we're taking the assassin along now too." Line.  I used persuade (and I guess that limited the drop but still it was a 3 point drop just like always).

It's a part of zevran_main.dlg which I do not touch.  You shouldn't lose approval if you do what Thor Rand Al did, though.  You HAVE to choose "Do you want to live or not."  The other, "That's what I mean" leads to approval loss.

Ejoslin is right.  I just checked to see what path I took.  I followed it all the way to this line and took the Thats what I mean line instead of the Live or die one. 
It becomes a tradeoff cause then you don't get to hear Alistair's "Things just got desperate" line which is pretty funny.  Its like when you do the prisoner in Ostagar...do you take the 1 point ding from Al for hearing his two funny lines during the interchange.

I always have this thread open while I play, otherwise I can't keep up!...lol I swear, if I close the thread, and go to bed, or whatever, I can never find my place again. So, I leave it open. As long as your PC can handle having a game running with a browser window up you're fine. Just alt+tab to see the desktop while you're in game.

I just plunked the unzipped folder into my game and started playing.  The robes aare located in the Haven CHantry in a chest in the side room.

IA will work even if you don't do step 6 and mess w/ the special folder.  The instructions are actually fairly simple though for installing the additional dazips and overwriting IA content. 

The mod I'm working on now will work in conjuncture with IA once it's finished.  Between the two of them it should give DA a whole new feel.  The two together are very aesthetically pleasing.

Up to ya. My canon is going home (wants to go back in Deep Roads and reclaim the other thiags). This one is staying on the surface since Bhelen will have things under control plus she is not going to give him another opportunity to have her killed. (Who knows if he'll be threatened by her paragon status?) I lost Alistair at Landsmeet and completely feel that it was absolutely the right thing to do, but I do miss not having Alistair around so I'm trying to find reasons for this noble to stay on the surface and agree to Morrigan's ritual, etc.

I don't really think the writers are going to try to accomodate our players being king/queen to a greater extent. There's an overall story they want to be told and trying to account for all the king/queen endings (in love, not in love, whatever) seems like a big hassle. Even though Harrowmont dies, they'll probably replace him with another king to keep our characters free for even more "never to be seen again" epilogue cards.

You know what hairdo I wish the game had for men? That one Adrian Paul had in Highlander the Series. That pulled back ponytail was so casual and simple and I thought it looked DAMN sexy on him. That's what I would love to have for Maricstair.

Yeah, I only have one queen ending as a Cousland, if it came down to it, I think all in that position would be treated as "in love" anyhow. Just like Awakening. And it would make sense, even political marriages can turn into more.

I think Aidan Aeducan will enjoy things with Alistair while she can. She'll make him king of course. And because Ferelden needs him, he'll do the DR. I just want to keep the "still in love" flag just in case<_< as far as RP goes, even as good as Alistair is to her, Gorim will always be it for her, and she'd rather be alone than have yet another man that can't be hers completely. 

Other than that, she's going home. There's work to be done, Harrowmont will need support, and well, a paragon should be among the dwarven people...at least for a time.
