I've always been curious about that guy too.  I don't know about him being a deserter though but he would be a witness to what Loghain did though. 
I'm shocked that there wasn't more people in Loghain's army that didn't say somthing about Loghain deserting.  I can't for the life of me believe they would all not have a problem leaving the King like that.

I think that guy and what Oswyn tells you about why he's being tortured (because he was told about Ostagar by his wetnurse's son who was in Loghain's army) are meant to show that there was talk and dissent.  It gives background to the gossip you hear about riots and uprisings in the Bannorn, Highever and Gwaren.

Ahem, back to Ali...I actually don't like Maricstair, I prefer him like he comes in game or the Natural Alistair. I don't have any mods changing him right now though. He's the only character besides Oghren who hasn't been changed in my game

Well. This is odd. I'm loving my DNF. But...I'm just not that into the Alistair thing with her. He's in love, he's gotten her to the tent, done all the right things. Yet when he said "So what now"...I found myself choosing "I really don't know". On my elves and human it's all squee...on my dwarf not so much. Curse you Gorim. CURSE YOU>



This kiss ALMOST worked at least. Maybe if it was the standard pre-tent kiss I'd have it easier.

I tried to swap my human mage for my elf mage earlier, and everything worked except for one thing. On HER it looks like he's kissing the air over her head now. Dwarf got it much better.

Yep!  these are elegant..  sorry took so long to answer...  I just created new characters .. a CDF, HNF (2) one warrior, one rogue, HNM rogue, Dalish Elf rougue, and a human mage.  Romance for Alistair and maybe Liliana.
