how do you get the tatoos to show up in game i have tried and cant get them to show up ?
Basically you'd need to fire up the Toolset and create a custom head in there. Once you're done w/ that you can do one of two things. You can either make that head a preset for the Character Creator or you can just link the morph in your character .das file.
Linking the morph in the .das is the easiest route. If you're playing a shape shifting mage though, you'd want to use a preset.
To link a morph in the .das you do this:
Open DA load up your game and do a hard save.
Close DA and open up the Toolset.
Go to File, Open and then find your Users/(name)/Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Characters/(character name)/Saves/Slot 1 and open your .das file.
You'll see a menu pop up w/ text and + signs next to it. Click on the + sign next to SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR then click on the + sign next to SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR and once again on the + next to SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE.
You should see SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_MORPH_... and under Value there will be a blank section.
Type in the name of your morph file here w/ the race/sex extension. Example: hf_seri_pc_hd1
Then save the file.
Start DA and load the hard save and you should see your custom headmorph.
To overwrite an existing preset you need to:
Load your custom headmorph you made.
In Object Inspector go to tab 14 Export settings.
Change Export .mop file from False to True.
Post to local.
Find the .mop file you just made.
Rename it (race/sex)_cps_p01. Example: hf_cps_p01.mop
If the game crashes when you go to create a new character there's something wrong w/ the .mop file. Try doing a save as and manually entering .mop then go back and post to local.
