Ditto!!!

Also, Cmessaz and TMP...aside from kisses, your tent scenes work for a dwarf:) Squues.

Wait, what? What mod are you using? I am still in Lothering with Alistair so I haven't seen it yet for myself, but I want to be sure I don't miss anything!! I downloaded the vanilla version of the Alistair mod from cmessaz because I didn't think the BSC would trigger for a dwarf pc. Am I wrong?

BSC medium won't trigger for anyone but humans in either version.  But mild would, if you don't mind weirdness.

Seriously, anything is an improvement over the vanilla scenes. I don't mind being off in the alignment! I will take what I can get! :D

Oh, I have the version that medium only plays if I choose "I want you", If I choose "lets go to sleep it's vanilla that plays. (is there still a version that does this by the way?) And for once I don't have the EVIL eyes in vanilla!

Oh, btw, I had a nasty shock last night. I've seen so many pictures of Alistair in the chasind robe that I remembered to not vendor it this time (I don't play mages and the style does not suit Morrigan or Wynne so I rarely use it). Out of curiousity, I tried it on my dwarf to see what it would look like. OMG, she actually gained weight wearing it. (I included a different robe for comparison purposes.) =p

Heh, not that I CARE how dwarves look in robes since I don't use robes, but daaaamn, is that just sloppy resizing or what?

Vanilla I think is what sucked the Ali-love out. I look HUGE in those scenes. I made sure to keep my morph rounder and wider so as not to humanize my dwarf face. Which is my habit...lol But the vanilla kiss kills me:( I'm suddenly as tall as Alistair and wider!)

I don't know which scene is triggering for "I want you" but I know it's a BSC scene.

I used the toolset to create her face, I don't know how you get tattoos to work in the CC though.

Only way to get custom tats in CC is to make facemorphs in the toolset and put them in your presets.

It's not very complimentary on elves, either.  You suddenly look top-heavy on a small body.  (Not sure if tmp's armor fix works for robes??)

Leliana looks very nice in it. however.  It works for rogues as well as mages.

Basically you'd need to fire up the Toolset and create a custom head in there. Once you're done w/ that you can do one of two things. You can either make that head a preset for the Character Creator or you can just link the morph in your character .das file.

Linking the morph in the .das is the easiest route. If you're playing a shape shifting mage though, you'd want to use a preset.

To link a morph in the .das you do this:
Open DA load up your game and do a hard save.
Close DA and open up the Toolset.
Go to File, Open and then find your Users/(name)/Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/Characters/(character name)/Saves/Slot 1 and open your .das file.
You'll see a menu pop up w/ text and + signs next to it. Click on the + sign next to SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR then click on the + sign next to SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR and once again on the + next to SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE.
You should see SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_MORPH_... and under Value there will be a blank section.
Type in the name of your morph file here w/ the race/sex extension. Example: hf_seri_pc_hd1
Then save the file.
Start DA and load the hard save and you should see your custom headmorph.

To overwrite an existing preset you need to:
Load your custom headmorph you made.
In Object Inspector go to tab 14 Export settings.
Change Export .mop file from False to True.
Post to local.
Find the .mop file you just made.
Rename it (race/sex)_cps_p01. Example: hf_cps_p01.mop
If the game crashes when you go to create a new character there's something wrong w/ the .mop file. Try doing a save as and manually entering .mop then go back and post to local.

Ahhh ok then. Well it works!...lol Now, I need to reinstall all my Zev fixes, let the confusion commence. I know it's simple, But I'm never sure I do it right.

Yeah, I play the love scene once in each game and that's it. I don't think dwarf and Alistair sex is weird, but the editing is weird along with the dwarf not looking quite as I remembered her. Vanilla kisses are OK (there are treestumps all over camp and the campfire is on a little hill, which puts the dwarf exactly at eye level with Alistair -- yes, I tested this out, heh -- so those are my RP reasons for being as tall as Alistair in the kisses). The only other moment that I don't feel my dwarf looks natural is when Leliana sings her song and the camera pans slowly over the PC's face from left to right. The face seems extra round. Maybe it's just the light or something, but it's a bit odd.

Thank you for this. I regret making my eye makeup so dark (it looked different in creator) and have been wondering how to tone it down. I'll try to follow the general steps above to see if I can fix it myself in toolset. Just didn't know where to go in toolset!

It's not so much a matter of smart, just a matter of getting used to it. I just found basic directions to start a head morph (file/new/morph) and played with it the options til I figured out what they did.

FILE
NEW
MORPH

You will see a drop down menu under HELP that says CHOOSE BASE.  Here is where you choose your race and sex.  Example: HF_BASE... = human female

Find the window that says OBJECT INSPECTOR, this is where you will change all of the values for your headmorph.  You'll need to have all of the character creation mods downloaded and in your override folder to access them via the Toolset.

If you need a starting point you can go to my projects and download the core unchanged preset heads.  They're already switched off of read only and you just open and begin editing.
