I'll have to take your word on this.    I grew up on a dairy farm and we had tons of cats, but I don't know any men who sit around cuddling cats.  It's just the facts.  Then again, the men of my acquaintance don't cuddle dogs, either.  Maybe it's the cuddling and ******-coo part I don't get.

That makes your experience unusual, not men who like cats (or dogs).

Those of you who've thought out Alistair-in-exile scenarios, what do you think of lydlyd's portrait of an older, exiled Alistair?  I think he's meant to be gaunt, etc.  Though I suppose you could imagine him a little dirtier and rougher, depending on how you see him living.

Actually I really don't like it. He looks unhealthy. Which I suppose is the point but he doesn't act as POW starved in the story as that picture makes him out to be.

Tall men can get pretty lanky and still be strong.  My father's cousin is like that all muscle and bone.  Yeah, it is a bit exaggerated though I suppose.

Its either Yuki-stair or its IA's mod for Alistair (I likes the scruffy guys).  The armor is the Cousland family armor from IA (You get Mom's when you leave Highever and it fits Alistair).

The eyes are really light and his complexion is different,  I think this is IA Alistair.

Well I stopped reading it when they wrote that AU Alistair/Anders/PC threesome piece of..Well lets just say I don't really like fanfics like that.  The story for the Thaw one was interesting and I may go read it when they finish it but unfinished Fics also annoy me too.  When I sit down to read something I wanna damn well read the whole thing, not get it doled out a page at a time three times a week.

My husband LOVES our cats, he talks to them, scolds them, and fusses over them like they were his own children. And he is a MAN. A very big one.



I agree with Surely: men who love cats are the best man-material out there. I found it to be a very reliable measure of just how much I will connect with a person, especially men. In the past, my best and most meaningful friendships and relationships were with men who loved cats, and animals in general (but especially cats). Hardcore dog-men who hated or felt apathetic towards cats were my worst choices.



So cat-men are the cream of the male crop, at least in my humble opinion.



Anders is definitely prime rib.
