It's fairly easy to make Alistair look younger just by switching up his complexion. In the toolset his skin textures are I believe the male and elf female. The male one is the one that has the lines and stuff, so but changing the opacity or switching it to something different he already looks loads younger. I dunno though, considering his background I think a few lines on his face make sense.

I have no idea where the lighter eyes = looks younger idea came from though :P

Most babies are born with eyes lighter shades than what they will be when they get older. Light eyes tend to be associated with youthfulness in general, since they often darken or change shades and tints as you grow up.

Oh, see, I grew up in an area where pretty much everyone has dark brown hair and eyes, so that was never really any sort of indicator of youth to me.

Bah! The fact that Ser Pounce-a-Lot, The Great One HIMSELF, felt Anders worthy of being his beloved human pet is enough endorsement for me in terms of Anders man-qualifications!

I think Ser Pounce-a-Lot staying with Anders was a temporary thing, just to assist us in our worthy goal. After that, I am sure He will leave Anders, if only fearing for his life. No human can wisthand that much awesome for long.

Except for someone who has The Beard of course.
In fact, I am starting to believe that Ser Pounce-a-Lot's fur is extracted from The Beard.

I'm toolset retarded though. I don't know how to edit characters. Trust me, I would if I could, because I love his face, I just want him to look a little younger while keeping his tan. A lot of mods make him pale, which I don't like.

I used the base headmorph and the only thing I changed on him was the facial texture opacity to make him look younger and I added some facial scruff.

Can you link your mod? You didn't last time you told me about it.

You see? Anders was the only human fit to withstand his awesome glory.

You know, you just might be on to something there...I mean, everyone was speculating about the lack of Duncan's corpse in RTO.... which also means the missing Beard.

And since we know the Beard cannot be killed nor corrupted, that means The Beard remains unaccounted for.

You're brilliant, Kop! I think you have discovered something earth shattering.....

The file called seri_party.zip if you don't want the other companion morphs just delete them.

Come, my familiars....

Speaking of wqhich, there is a mod for origins that allows you to adopt a minor mage cat as a companion in awakenings. Sadly, it isn't complete, but it still runs on a basic level. Any of you modder types know anyone who'd like to finish it?

That would require scripting which sadly I can't do.

That could be it. Amongst certain ethnicities, mainly the Northern and Central Europeans, but also Mediterranians, Middle Easterners, and some African and Asian peoples, children, even those who will grow up with dark colored eyes and hair, are often born with coloring much lighter.

The same phenomenon can be observed in many animals as well, such as certain dog and cat breeds. Kittens and puppies are often born without much pigment, and develop coloring and spots as they grow up.

That's my theory, anyway. I would imagine in cultures where little coloration difference in adults and children exists, that, as you mentioned, lighter eyes would not be associated similarly.

She looks very healthy now.

He can't even do that, since at the bottom of the page it says the number. So at most, he can read.

Has anyone played through Fragments of Ferelden?  I'm trying it now.  It's kind of like interactive fan fiction.

I'm not that far in but it seems interesting.  The general idea seems to be that parts of Thedas (not just Ferelden) were teleported to another plane in a Deep Roads/cavern type area.  Beyond that I haven't found too much out yet.

You get to start your character w/ the character creator which is kind of cool.

Oh noes! Must post Alistair screenie...

We got the ashes tonight. Alistair frets about his hair ("Maybe I should start wearing it all pulled back, or should I just get an earring?") and the fact that his new girlfriend called him an old fishwife:
