Since Alistair and my PC are both massive plate wearing warriors, no, we didn't smell very good.  I'd imagine we bathed before the Landsmeet, but I don't think the armor smells terribly good even after its clean.    Oh well, I guess we got used to it.

No, the OP is not useful in quite that way.  Keeping bugs and heat/cold away, yes.  Doing laundry and being clean in between weeks of bathing?  Not so much.
