I never could play guys. Still can't. I don't even try anymore...lol I just stick with my girls. only 2 origins left to play to completion before all the girls head to Awakening. finish DNF and Dalish, then Dwarf commoner...ok thats 3. Maybe if I slept, I could count.

I started a human male and decided that the Morrigan romance would be my "carrot," but she was bedded before we even got to Lothering. Yeaaah, that didn't last long.

I made my guy wait until Flemeth was killed before he bedded Morrigan n by then the romance was hot n heavy n he fell for her n she cut him off.  Poor guy, gets it once n is cut off lol.

A few Maricstair shots before I head to bed.  The Landsmeet... what a wild day that would be.  Intense doesn't cover it.

Joking about Anora being a friendly despot, after she's thrown us under the bus.  He's just glad that Esra didn't try to set him up with Anora this time.  Execution is preferable.







Accepting the kingship...  it's a tissue moment, really, if you think of all he's been through and how little he believes he deserves it.




Probably my favorite line of the game, Alistair saying "Maker's breath!" if you tell him to put on the damn crown.




After all's said and done and he realizes he was an idiot for suggesting they break up, here he's saying they'll have to see about his punishment later.  Hubba hubba.

I just did that tonight, I love the line 'seeing about his punishment later'. And I love when you can ask him later about where do you think this is going, and he says he's not going to let you get away I always wait to ask that until after the landsmeet. All my screenies of him were covered with blood -- I think I'm going to play it again, just to get shots w/out the blood on him! Well, and to hear some of those lines again

@gilsa -- Figures it would just start working again!! I don't know what to do about the light. I usually end up making my toolset morphs presets, just so I can play with the hairstyles/coloring/makeup with sliders instead of picking and choosing files.

Question on multiple playthroughs -- Do you continue to do all the quests, side quests, etc & get all the notes? Or do you just play through your main parts?



I tend to do everything, so it takes forever for one game to be done. Then I start procrastinating finishing it, because I start making new characters in the toolset! I still haven't managed a playthrough without romancing Ali! His sad face and his funny/corny jokes just win me every time. This last play through, I had to get the polygamey mod, just so I could finally finish a Zevran romance and not break Ali's heart in the process.

If dwarves, I take my time. Doing everything means more opportunities for screenshots.



If not dwarves, pedal to the metal. I cut every single possible corner. Easy mode. Once I left as many side quests untouched as possible and hurried to get Loghain because I wanted to see if he had extra comments. He didn't say a damn thing when Slim Couldry was instructing me to steal the teryn's crown right in front of Loghain. Not only that, Loghain's men were hassling me in front of him and as a finishing touch, Loghain killed his own men on that quest. I think he said something in warden's keep, but he had to be the only person in the group to say anything when it came to telling those women their husbands were dead.

Seconded. I try to walk by an exclamation point or a quest board but I just can't.

I think there is an option to set it so that everything shows up... click on the barrel behind the elf lady to change them. Not sure what the exact setting is though.

I'm afraid I cheat here a little (not on the playthrough, but on Winter Forge!). Instead of aquiring all the items for the armor, I use the config options on the barrel to turn on the override. That way you can get it all done without having to use the formulas. 

That said, when I was doing some of the formulas, most the items could be found at different sellers around the world, some from Bodahn right there in camp. Others I had to hunt down a little.

The options on the barrel scare me.  XD  I shall poke around with it later.  Probably not tomorrow b/c I have a party.  And this pretty much guarantees I will be replaying my HNF.  *will carry around pretty clothes and the armor she loves for cutscenes and special occassions*

Edit:  Sabreene:  Could you tell me which config option/how to do it?  if it's not too much trouble.  If it's really easy, don't worry about it.

I do all the obvious side quests. I don't go hunting down any more out of the way ones. I typically do the Shale, then 3 treaties, then the urn. Then stop at camp and hand out gifts and chat until I have everyone's personal quest, then go to Denerim and knock out the quests there. Usually including the trial of crows for the extra vote. Then go do companion quests, return to Ostagar and WArdens Keep, so Alistair can march into the landsmeet in Cailan's armor and Maric's sword, while I stroll in with Duncan's weapons. Then off to save Redcliffe and get to the landsmeet.

now, I need to do the sleep quest.

Sure! When you click on the barrel you choose "see configuration options", then you  choose "enable the override mode...", then "don't do anything and leave".

After that, you can just click on the woman, and get things done from her.

I remembered what it was that she doesn't do -- there are some more color options for clothes/mage robes without the override on, and any cloth colors are free. So I usually make the object with her, and then if it's clothing/mage robes, I turn the oveerride off and use the anvil to re-color it.

That's the one! Thank you  Yeah, I'm kind of undecided about the blue eyes. I'm trying out different mods to see if I like any of them. I feel like Morrigan has hexed him with some type of morphing charm, while I'm doing so

I think I'm using the one before -- I think he just released a new one last month, and I haven't updated it yet. The one I'm using wants you to make recipes and buy materials. But I usually toggle that off Takes too much time!
