If it will put your minds at ease I can make a fix either making Fergus's eyes green or Bryce's eyes hazel.
*shrug* It never bothered me. I've had HNFs with tan skin and black hair so I guess I'm not too big on the appearances xD

YES! That is funny stuff, I don't care who you are.
Some people can't handle his intense, radiant beauty ;-;But I could be convinced to change my mind. And at least when I DO post him I warn you first you BAD BAD Lady!!
Well, to be fair I've posted that beauty at most four or five times. Maricstair is all over this thread, many times that.
You are suffering due to the crimes of others. I'm sorry ;~;

Okay, the Couslands appear to have some interesting genetics going on.... Bryce has blue eyes, Eleanor has green, and yet Fergus's appear to be brown. I don't have a good picture to check for that, but if they are, is that actually possible?
In theory possible but unlikely.
Even in theory, its not that likely. It's more like it's feasibly possible but highly highly unlikely. Brown is usually considered the dominant phenotype, so yeah, according to the vanilla game....Eleanor had a "friend".
Not a chance. This is Eleanor Cousland we're talking about, a woman who gave her life so her husband wouldn't die alone.
Oh yeah, I don't actually believe that she did. But genetically speaking, if Fergus' eyes are indeed brown and not hazel the genetics says that it's not very likely that Bryce is Fergus' father. Gosh, I've been hit with SUCH a story idea now, but I'm not a fast enough writer to pull off my thesis, my current fic, and this one all at the same time... but the idea's been tugging at my head since someone mentioned wanting more backstory on Bryce and Eleanor...
This might go into a folder of ideas...maybe one day it will see light!
For what it's worth, his eyes really are hazel:
Not that it really means much in the grand scheme of things, since it may have been just oversight on BW's part. But his features are very Bryce-like, I think, so IMO it is easier to chalk it up to some fluke than Fergus actually being someone else's kid.
the description of my Canon Cousland is she has her dad's eyes and mannerisms and her mother's features.errant_knight wrote...

Awesome! Problem solved. They probably just looked brown in the light the screenshot was taken in. It doesn't really matter, but for writing purposes, I wanted to clarify just what color they were, and whether it would have any bearing on the color of a female Cousland's eyes. I'm a stickler for detail, and I'm glad that logic holds here.

The nose on the female is a huge turn off for me. But I really like the male and will likely use it my next playthrough. Since I am going to *puke* marry Anora.Serissia wrote...

Um, hazel looks brown in vanilla Dragon Age. Alistair's eyes are hazel, too.
It's a complete shock if you use Dracomie's true eyes and use the hazel eye texture - it looks so different. The picture with the light eyes someone posted 2 pages ago looked very much like the true eyes hazel.

I like Yuki-stair too which is vanilla with a little scruff. I like a little scruff on Alistair. it looks good on him.

Yeah, serissia's does the same, thats the one I'm using right now. Next playthrough will be giving him MM's back again. I like him to change each playthrough.
Hey, how exactly do you trick Kolgrim in the urn quest? I have never done it and want to.

Me too. Though there isn't much difference. I think Alistair is one of the only characters (besides Oghren) that I can't mod too much. Oghren isn't modded on my game at all.

I mod Leli & Zev, I just can't play with their normal faces. And since I've modded them from nearly day one, I feel like they aren't modded. (Leli was literally modded on the first day of playing!).
Alistair only recently began to get a little scruff & eye color tweak... could have something to do with my ex having brown eyes, and I don't want to be looking at them anymore! lol.
