I'm sorry, yukidama. I can look on the bright side of any Maricstair retaliation that you can come up with.

I wasn't retaliating, I was just saying how much more ~beautiful~ he would look later on in the game if he let it grow

This would look even better if it was a single ponytail at the nape of the neck like Adrian Paul sported in Highlander TV series.

I imagine mine the same age as my other wardens. somewhere between 18-20. Bhelen looks older, but so do all the male dwarves actually.
and that's what gives me a hard time making an Aeducan; I want to make her a bit childish but not wanting revenge on her younger brother.
Oh I wanted revenge. It took me a while to realize WTF happened. But once I did (thank you Harrowmont) I wanted that little nughumper deader than dead dead DEAD. So dead the ancestors would need a VACUUM to get him back to the stone. I swear the best Origin I have played since my very first time, because I had no earthly clue what was going to happen to me. I was all oh cool I have two brothers...ok Trian is kind of a jerk...dude wtf? Fine kiss my **** response.
I really felt like I hero worshipped Trian, even though he was always so nasty with me, making me fire back. And I felt she saw Bhelen as a kindly little brother, if a little bratty. And Total Daddy's girl of course. She truly believed her family was above the backstabbing politics and earned their place through honesty and hard work. She understood her world, but thought they were above it.

Well the toolset puts Trian at 25 and Bhelen at 21 so that's still pretty young. If you ask him about Branka he says two years ago when she disappeared (a year before the origin) he was still considered a child so that could work. Although anyone who isn't even a little bit tempted to seek revenge after listening to Bhelen dismiss, threaten, openly insult, mock, and be hateful towards them is a far better person than me...TotoroTori wrote...

Will he substitute Alistair's accent for a Batman voice that leaves you craving lozenges?
Yeh, I didn't say he should do the Dean Winchester voice.
I was going to say, he doesn't really sound like that!
This is a pretty funny interview with him and his actual voice:
LOL! Poor guy. Very funny when Rosie Perez asked him if he curled his eyelashes.

Well sure Bhelen's nice in the Origin. All of the nastiness is when you agree to work for him when you return. Even if you try your hardest to have a civil conversation, you can't avoid the 'of course, now that you've spent so much time on the surface you're practically one of [the casteless]' insult. I never realized how jealous he was until Gilsa posted the toolset version of that conversation. He's supposed to sound jealous twice. The first is when he tells you that your father wastes away from grief because he couldn't bear to live without you and the second is, oddly enough, when he says you were right to come to him because Harrowmont would be nicer to you but couldn't get you your troops. Why is he jealous there? He and Harrowmont didn't get along even back in the origin. I do like the thought of being slightly oblivious to just how jealous both of your brothers were of how everyone loved you more.Lady Jess wrote...

And I usually cut Trian some slack since people are openly saying I should rule instead of him and if Bhelen talks you into killing Trian then he'll have to have Trian on board too and given how much time they apparently spend together Bhelen's probably convinced him I'm the antichrist. Besides, it's kind of amusing to ignore him and keep addressing Bhelen.

I smarted back to Trian, never directly confronted him, just sassed him. And Oh maker was I oblivious. Look up the word in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of me, beside Aidan. I replayed the Orzammar treaty 4 times before I was finally satisfied with the results. The first I sided fully with Bhelen then pulled the switch at the end. But decided that was OOC for her, Harrowmont was kind to her at the exile. So I eventually ended up doing Bhelen's first quest...to gain his trust enough to ask him outright why he did it. wanted to kill him then too. Once I had the admission that he did frame me, i accepted his request to get Jarvia, and went to Harrowmont...by helping him instead, I had cold hard proof I was set up, put him on the throne, took out the last Aeducan. There was just no way she was letting him have that power under her family name.

My first sword I made was pretty reasonable, but I goofed and gave it 75% chance to dodge. But when it was done the name i automatically got was "Aidan's Keening Blade". i figure, considering the end she has coming...it made a good sword for Alistair.

Yeah, that kind of pissed me off too.
DN: So why did you try to have me fed to darkspawn? I mean, Trian I can kind of understand because he treated you like a badly-behaved pet but I was nice to you!
Bhelen: You would have done it too! Father did it, too! I did nothing wrong!
I just wish you could find the evidence you were framed even if you sided with Harrowmont the whole time. I mean, shouldn't it still be in that chest?
And if you say that you never plotted against either of them (I wish you could have said 'I never would have killed you' as he's right, not plotting against them is kind of failing at politics and that's not the only way you could play it) he says you should thank him as you're reluctance to commit fratricide makes you an unfit ruler. Of course, once Harrowmont's on the throne and your an only child then should you want to go that route it looks like that particular weakness resolved itself...
