Does anyone have a screenshot of the drunk Alistair epilogue card? Or even just a text version of what's written on there? I need it for a fanfic I'm planning on writing. Oh, and does that particular epilogue card change if he's hardened or not?

Alistair was true to his word and did not return to the Grey Wardens. He was last seen, before the siege, hiring a Rivaini ship to take him out of Denerim. An attempted coup to overthrow Anora a year later borrowed Alistair's name, but no proof of Alistair's involvement was ever supplied. A haggard, drunken man was seen in a tavern in Starkhaven, bitterly claiming to have once been a Grey Warden and prince... but drunken men are not so rare.

Yeah... technically it should have been the first ending I got, but I freaked out after what happened at the Landsmeet and reloaded. xD Not that it made the ending any less tragic; Alistair sacrificed himself. ;3;

Now I just have to collect my thoughts and type this thing out. It's been a while since I last wrote fanfiction... Dx

I actually love that ending. It's very vague about what happens to him, so you can imagine whatever you want.

I wish we had more options on how to 'eliminate' Anora; I would love the option to publicly execute her.

Aww, Ali.    DE got similar lines once when I was playing through her Landsmeet ending and trying different options.  The voice acting is great there.  As mad as people get about the dumping, it's obvious that Alistair is anything but callous about it- he's devastated.

Hence why despite the bittersweetness, DE will stick with him no matter what.  I might not run the tragic-est of tragic endings, but it's still tragic enough in my mind that she has to see him marry someone else.  Nevertheless I think there's a certain bitter beauty to the "Chani" ending.  I guess that's why I was always nostalgic about it, enough to re-play her game.
