Your character reminds me of a certain Spanish monarch. Is your Warden's name Mary by any chance?

SAD! OMG I have never thought about this. This ending had the potential to be amazing if BW had done something with it. But as they did with everything after the landsmeet, they rushed through it.

I imagine that my PC was too numb to do that.  Lots of people are suffering, she would know that.  She could keep it together long enough to let them, as Wynne says, gawk at her, if that's what they need.  Alistair would want her to do that.

I figure she would go to Highever and do what Alistair had wanted to do- memorialize Duncan.  And maybe stay in Highever.   Maybe Fergus needs a court mage.  It's something to do, anyway, far away from Denerim where she started out life as a street child and where nothing good ever happened to her.

Hahaha, I didn't mean that literally, just in the sense that it would be pretty much impossible to drag them away without a lot of resistance. If I actually think about it they'd probably react more in line with your description.

But they still would be very, very, VERY mad after the coronation. I don't think they'd want to see most of their 'friends' again after that.

Because seriously, I know you got your own stuff going but if your closest friend's partner/fiancee/whatever just DIED to save the damn world you better at least have some words of consolences >:|

The only two that bother me by not saying anything are Wynne and Leliana, the sure had TONS to say before! Sten would assume you knew how he felt, Shayle...well is Shayle, She doesn't understand emotion yet, and Zev...I think Zev gets it. Regardless if you're friends or lovers, he will stay with you. Now, knowing Zev doesn't do well with expressing how he feels, I think the gesture says it all.

I don't think it's even just your friends though. That he only gets a throwaway line from Anora and Wynne and that's it. Even if he's not the PC's lover, he should at least get more recognition than that. In this case the PC didn't kill the Archdemon, but they're treating them like the savior without giving much acknowledgement to the one who actually died.

I agree. SOMETHING out of people. This could have been a very emotional and well written ending and it wouldn't have taken much. But they got in a hurry, just look at the programming errors and plot flag mistakes in the toolset.

The ONLY justification I could give RP-wise is that people are trying to cheer you up.  They should know that that's not possible, but at least with Zevran and Sten, it did feel warm enough that I could see that they were trying to tell her to be brave.  The whole post-coronation was pretty empty, actually.  Did you ever notice how quiet it is?  What a boring little affair.  At least the smallfolk sound like they are having a good time outside.  This time, of course, the emptiness made it all worse.  Who is waiting for her?  Irving.  Hurrah.  Go back to your Tower, you old fart.

Yeah, no, not like that.  I have a partial fic of this written and she's devastated, but still mostly in shock.  She can't stay for his funeral so she just walks out.  Kind of creepily withdrawn until his ashes are laid to rest in Weisshaupt.  She sorta loses it then.

When I'm a Queen, I tell him to stay (I'm sure I'll need his services as a monarch:devil:) but otherwise I usually go with whatever he says he's going to do. Except when he accidently falls in love with me.

"Yeah, leave. I'll pay your way."

Really?  It's really easy to get him to stay.  Just say you'd like him to stick around.  Though in the WC ending, my PC takes off and asks Zevran to come with her.  She figures he knows sorta what she's going through and needs the support.

My theory on Zevran, which seems to be supported in the toolset from what I've heard, is that he wants to stay with you regardless of whether romanced or not.  I think he wants a place in the world.  If you say "you're welcome to stay" or "you can come with me," that's all he needs to hear and he sounds pretty happy about it.

Yeah, I think Zevran would make a good travel buddy post-WC ending. I don't think any of them would stay in Denerim or on as a Warden :/

Mhmm. By the end of the game I always have everyone at or very near 100 (which is why it tans my hide that they don't say anything). Zevran is a pretty good friend so I can definitely see my PCs traveling with him afterward. I really think in this case Zevran is probably the person who would understand your PC's mindset best anyway

I'll have to try different lines w/ Zev next time. He's the only one I'd actually like to stick around. He makes a great friend especially if the PC is a rogue. It just seems to fit.
