Oh no!  Terra_Ex fixed the Morrigan-Alistair breakup dialogue and he used my HNF to test it so she's in the vid!

YouTube video here.

I feel horrible just watching it!  And Eren actually did break up with him initially, until I found that the ending was so horrible (she changed her mind and chose to marry him, but Alistair acted like she was shoe dirt and that they'd never had a relationship) so I went back and changed it.  Bad memories.  :crying:  After my trauma earlier today, I need to hurry up and get this Dalish girl into shemlen-rose-receiving territory.

I always roleplayed that they had wanted to get married. Kind of like childhood sweethearts.

Lenya loved Tamlen in a totally neutral, brotherly way. He was the guy with whom she could all the idiotic pranks, who covered her up and all that. The elder had the thoughts to set them both up later on but it made her ill in the stomach somehow. It would have been to marry a brother.

. Then again, Tamlen was probably interested in more, alas Lenya is incredibly slow in the romantic department/ has no interest in it in general. She is going to give Alistair a hard time, though :wizard:

I understand that I had no trouble killing her, since Morrigan asked me to do it.

But why would you have no problem killing the person who saved your life?
Or better yet, the person who saved Alistair's life?

That is what I think. I don't know about Flemeth, she's like Eamon to me. I go back and forth.

My PCs have some issues.  In the game, by the time it comes up, they're usually good friends with Morrigan.  And learning what's in the grimoire freaks them out.  But, yeah, Flemeth did save their lives.  She doesn't exactly do a great job convincing them at the hut, but lying to Morrigan when it will ultimately cost her her soul seems...wrong.

I honestly don't understand the appeal of Loghain's voice. The voice actor doesn't sound like he's gargling razorblades when he's doing Caladrius's voice. I love Caladrius he's up there w/ Kylon on my favorite noncompanion npcs.

Hey, Loghain voiced some Quarian in ME2. That would be perfect for me. He wouldn't even need to take off his suit lol.

Now if Loghain were voiced by Martin Sheen, I'd sacrifice Ali everytime. And ask Loghain to let my Warden call him The Illusive Man.

But then she wouldn't know who that is and my plan would fall apart. -le sigh-

Morrigan manipulates. I just don't feel for her. Besides, I'm kind of curious about the way Flemeth reacts, I sort of want more info.

My PC, Alistair, and my dog! I mean. c'mon, she saved my dog. She didn't have to do that....

I never lied to her, but in the games where I didn't kill Flemeth, I went there to find out what was up. and ended up washing my hands of it and leaving.

Ever since I read the toolset stuff on Flemeth (not THAT much, really, just indications that she knows that Morrigan lied to the player and Flemeth is going along with it rather than reveal Morrigan's hand, even though she's being set up by Morrigan), I find her a far more interesting character than Morrigan herself. It's too bad that she assures the player that the player will never see Flemeth again if the PC just takes the book and leaves. She could just be talking about the body she's in though. =p

Would someone please make me finish ONE character before I start playing another! Gahhhhh

I have to or I can't get into them. One at a time for me, I don't know how people can play more than one.

I'm the same way.  Actually if I try playing more than one at a time I tend to lose my grip on the character and have a hard time getting back into it.

That's what's happening to me. I was on my last treaty on my Dalish, when I started my Dwarf noble. Now I'm one treaty from the end with her. Speaking  of, Her and Alistair just did the tent (I initiated). So, this means as soon as I do his personal quest he's going to hit me in camp with the where is this going speech right? i plan to do the quest after everything else is done. But before the landsmeet. which break up is...better (or...worse I guess would be more accurate...lol).

What IS the difference between Alistair and Cailan?

Alistair is more tolerable.

I disagree.  "HO THERE, FRIEND!"  Always makes me smile.

*snorts in laughter as she recalls the Pearl mod*

*snicker*
And the humorous take on it... Hounds!

I do not recall that line!  :o  Which initial dialogue did you choose when Cailan shows up?

If you choose, "I'm the greatest lover of all !" or something like that, it then gives you a choice of , "except for that time with..." and then there's an option to choose Duncan & Cailan. It's not quite as funny as the other options, but some of the lines are good.

Mustache + Voice = Sam Elliot for the win!

But he would make too much of a laid back, drawling Loghain. He'd need his very own character.

Put that voice on any companion and I'd romance them!

I'll grab the specific lines I'm talking about. It's mostly my interpretation. I'll leave it up to you to speculate.

See, I always got the impression that Morrigan isn't telling you everything about that. Maybe she decided to betray Flemeth so she can keep this godchild for herself??

LOL

Okay, I have to admit, it's interesting hearing all the unused dialogue lines from Dunca/Cailan.  Makes me wonder what was intended before things got cut.

Ya know, the sad thing is...when it comes down to that moment in your room in Redcliffe...most of us just don't care, we don't want Alistair to die, and WE don't want to die...or risk total soul destruction (thanks alot for THAT little ear bug by the way guys...lol) so we do it...lol

THAT line makes me think she is reffering to the godchild. Unwilling to reveal Morrigan's hand?
