I'd keep us in this armor for most of the game, if I could:

SKIP THE FADE mod! My best friend. You get all the xp and attributes, less of the fuss!!!!Addai67 wrote...

Yes, I actually was playing the Fade at 4am. I am crazy in the head. LOL

I remember, I read the first chapter once and obviously forgot to put it on story alert. Excuse me, I have to read.LadyDamodred wrote...

The fade gets repetitive after your gazillionth playthrough to the point where I dread the mages tower.SurelyForth wrote...

I find that the Fade is most tolerable when I'm exhausted. It feeds into that whole sense of wrongness. "Why can't my eyes focus? Why are those bookshelves crooked? Oh, Maker, there's a table floating over my head."
Of course, now I have the Fade Be Gone mod. It is definitely cheating, but I've been through there at least 20 times. I deserve a break.

You know, I really wish I knew how to make the links show up as the story titles like someone did earlier. I should know how to do this.
I have a hard time with my female PCs and armor, because I like them to look like women still, and the pauldrons on massive armor bother me. Not on male characters for some reason, but on my female PCs. I like the look of Varathorn's Armor and tried to put my blood mage/arcane warrior in that, but the fatigue penalty was too high so I had to switch her to Wade's heavy/Evon the Great.LadyDamodred wrote...
I've said before that it might just be nostaglia, as I really like Alistair in massive armor, and I don't like the way armor looks on him without shoulder plates. Dunno. It just makes my heart all fuzzy. As for my girl, I love her in scale, especially dark colored scale. *shrugs*

Does that make the massive more female-friendly? I have seen a mod for a women's version of the WCA, but not sure I like the coloring.cmessaz wrote...
I hated massive armor because I should be able to see when I turn left or right. But then I found the symettrical massive armor mod someone pointed out in this forum. Good stuff.
I'm a modding expert! I had to resinstall my game recently, and I didn't add every mod, but I had like 70 running. Now I'd say about 40. You choose the size of the pouldrins and gloves with that mod. It makes it look infinately better on females. You can also choose to make them bigger. I am noticing some interactions with the improved atmosphere mod, however. I'm trying to get the bottom of that. But my fav mod so far: Forced deathblows baby.Addai67 wrote...

Oh the agonies of DA fashion. LOL
I'm also a relative mod virgin, so I haven't ventured too far into modding my game. It's my husband's game and his PC, so I have to be careful.

Giving him Duncan's shield and starting the romance that way can be cool, if you are wanting to wait that long.LadyDamodred wrote...
I like the virginity and asking about beautiful. I just really like his response there. I'm being flirty in my terribly awkward way, I want something similar in response. My friend prefers getting the courting line, though.
I don't ever want to wait that long. How does it start if you do that?

LadyDamodred, do you have a character pre-redcliffe? If so I need someone to test my patch. It works for me! By pre-Redcliffe I mean have not gone at all and Alistair has not told you the truth. Prefereably you should be in a relationship with him.
You are awsome! Do you mind if I email you the files, and you could test them for me? If it works, then I will send it to anyone who wants it!LadyDamodred wrote...

I do! It is one of my many save points!
