I find that the Fade is most tolerable when I'm exhausted. It feeds into that whole sense of wrongness. "Why can't my eyes focus? Why are those bookshelves crooked? Oh, Maker, there's a table floating over my head."

Of course, now I have the Fade Be Gone mod. It is definitely cheating, but I've been through there at least 20 times. I deserve a break.

I don't actually mind the Fade so much. Weird, I know. Although DE has a harder time than most, being an archer/ranger. She can't summon her wolf and her attack is not yet very strong.

Thanks.  Any constructive criticism is much appreciated, too.  You tend to get lost in your own work sometimes and it's hard to figure out the weak areas.

I've said before that it might just be nostaglia, as I really like Alistair in massive armor, and I don't like the way armor looks on him without shoulder plates.  Dunno.  It just makes my heart all fuzzy.  As for my girl, I love her in scale, especially dark colored scale.  *shrugs*

The fade gets repetitive after your gazillionth playthrough to the point where I dread the mages tower.

I have a hard time with my female PCs and armor, because I like them to look like women still, and the pauldrons on massive armor bother me.  Not on male characters for some reason, but on my female PCs.  I like the look of Varathorn's Armor and tried to put my blood mage/arcane warrior in that, but the fatigue penalty was too high so I had to switch her to Wade's heavy/Evon the Great.

Most of the time it's not an issue because I play rogues generally.  The light armor has its own problems, but I've reconciled myself to Shadow of the Empire and I do like the Warden Shadow Armor (obviously, as you can see from my screenshots).

I'll play around with Ali's armor on this game.  I generally throw him in the WCA and forget about it until the Landsmeet.

LadyDamodred, do you have a character pre-redcliffe? If so I need someone to test my patch. It works for me! By pre-Redcliffe I mean have not gone at all and Alistair has not told you the truth. Prefereably you should be in a relationship with him.

I'm a modding expert! I had to resinstall my game recently, and I didn't add every mod, but I had like 70 running. Now I'd say about 40. You choose the size of the pouldrins and gloves with that mod. It makes it look infinately better on females. You can also choose to make them bigger. I am noticing some interactions with the improved atmosphere mod, however. I'm trying to get the bottom of that. But my fav mod so far:  Forced deathblows baby.

This forum got real hard to keep up with last night, believe me. To answer your question on the courtship line: If you are not in a relationship and ask him about his virginity, after he calls you beautiful, instead of saying "You think I'm beautiful?" Say "No it's not" And you will get a cute line about being "courted" by a gentlemen. As far as the Duncan shield, I only did it one time and I was going to go into the toolset and look up the line, but I got sidetracked. Will do it right now.

You know that you could seriously fill this whole thread up just by posting toolset stuff. I love seeing the VO notes. The voice acting for Alistair is so good that I haven't seen anything that up-ended my impressions of scenes, but it's still interesting.
