Quick question -- is it possible to miss the rose conversation entirely? He's at 90 love already. Not that I actually care about the rose conversation -- just wondering if it'll bug up my game. I can backtrack a bit if needed.
HOW did you get that much approval without getting the rose...don't you get it at like 60 or so?
I went through all of his dialogue chats and gave him gifts. Got him to tell me about being bastard prince and went to Denerim to harden him. Lothering is still active because I haven't actually completed any major city yet. =p
I guessss I could go back to an earlier save and just go slower instead of lavishing gifts on him, but I wanted to see tmp's mod for the dwarves! Damn, he wouldn't give it up until he was at least 70+.
After I hardened him, he was at 85. I bumped him up to 90 and never got the scene that's supposed to trigger -- the you're the first woman and if i have my way, you'll be the last too. I do have the alistair mod in place though.
He needs to be at 91 if you are talking about the proposition scene?
Bingo, thanks. Gave him a wine bottle and went back to camp. It triggered.
OH I see...had to get him drunk eh? Is this dwarven foreplay?
LOL. That's how easy Alistair is because I was holding back on the ale. =p
So far ... 91 love with Alistair and I still can't get the option to tell Gorim that I'm in love with the future king of Ferelden. Need to reload, clearly. I wonder if you have to be in love (like at 100) with all of the companions before you can tell Gorim you're in love with someone else. If that's true, sucks to be in a romance with Zevran since you'd have to avoid Gorim until the Talisen encounter finishes and Zev flips to love.
OFF TO DO MORE TESTING IN THE NAME OF DWARVEN KIND!
Edit: Theory #1 -- I might actually need to revive the arl first before that option would show up and they talk about Alistair being in line for the throne for Landsmeet.
