Yeah, as a woman with humongous boobs, I have my game modded for smaller boobs. There is no way a woman could wield a sword with those things strapped to her chest.

I have to agree that the mods add a lot.  I'm glad I overcame my nervousness about using them.  Well, mostly overcame.

Speaking of mods, I know you are really into the Dalish lore so I wish you could play the Dalish mage mod, too!!  It unlocks the mage class for the Dalish origin and thus far I'm really pleased with it.  I'm playing a Dalish shapeshifter right now.

Yes, Dalish is obviously my favorite due to Lenya who had grown to be THE canon character for me, despite having played a HNF before her. Just love her to pieces (and would pay to see her in actual PC graphic/modded scenes with Alistair) I just love this whole other world and conflict thing playing a Dalish brings with along. It's delicious material for drama. <3

So it's really a no brainer that I would love to play a Dalish mage. I couldn't get into playing a mage, so I imagine it would be a lot easier with a Dalish mage ---without having to do the boring Mage origin, Jowan and all that. After all, the Dalish have their own magic, so I don't understand the absence of a mage option at all *sigh*

I don't know why, but it is the most intrigued I've been with any of my PCs' back stories.  I'm thinking I actually have to pull out my old MUSH character formation sheets and write up some more detailed backstory for her.  And do some more reading of the codexes on the elven gods etc.  Somehow it just adds something to the story to have her be a mage.  Like, I was thinking that Tamlen probably was so interested in the mirror not for his own sake, but because he knew that she was into arcane lore and so he went in for her.  It adds some definite to the origin story.

Actually this is how Lenya formed to a thorough character (and where I opened the pandora box to begin writing my FF) Since I was intrigued with the Dalish elves already, I started to read the codex entries of their gods with more interest than before. I had a story with her already in mind at that point, yet was she neither the char she is now, nor wanted I to write it that extensively (just drabbles). Oh well..

Anyway I disgress. Bottom line is that reading all the things concerning the Dalish elves helped me a lot to develope her character. It's just a pity that the infos on them are rare, though it fits somehow to the story, when regarding that so much is lost of their lore. I can really see that happening that Tamlen wanted to go to the cave just for her. So sad.

Actually, the boobs sans armor don't bother me that much (I am busty myself). But it's the helga boobs in light, medium and heavy armor that are ridonk. There's no reason for the design to be so radically different between the sexes because, when armor was actually worn, a woman would just pin those babies down and wear the same style as the menfolk. This was practical (keeping them out of t he way) and lifesaving- in DA armor the rounded breast areas would pretty much guide a blade to weak and vulnerable spots.

Yes, exactly! Did noone at Bioware think that the heroines looked like a old woman who had breat implants? Or do they actually think that looks good?

This. I've done karate before (not much of it but took a few classes) and I had to bind mine. I would imagine that female warriors would have to do that.

If they're going to be big, I actually like that they're a little fallen. It's the ginormous breasts that jut up like there is no such thing as gravity that annoy me.

I would have preferred not have huge breasts on my character who are warriors.

If a guy wants the woman attached to those pretty things dead badly enough, I imagine he'll be able to think with something besides his sword at that moment.

I personally like the idea. They can serve as mana reservoirs or they can be used to bounce spells back into the caster. So many possibilities *dreams*

I'd guess that given these armours can be pretty rigid piece of garment compared to our today's clothes (or the kimono) it could act itself very much like sport bra or the binding -- as long as it's fitting to the form it just doesn't leave the room for the flesh to move about?
