Actually, the boobs sans armor don't bother me that much (I am busty myself). But it's the helga boobs in light, medium and heavy armor that are ridonk. There's no reason for the design to be so radically different between the sexes because, when armor was actually worn, a woman would just pin those babies down and wear the same style as the menfolk. This was practical (keeping them out of t he way) and lifesaving- in DA armor the rounded breast areas would pretty much guide a blade to weak and vulnerable spots.

That's assuming that a guy can summon the gall to purposely target those pretty things...with a sword I mean.

Which sword might you be referring to?

Perversion is a disease, I tell you! Ignore the above text.

The sword that kills.

And if you dislike big boobs on warriors (cause you are no fun at all), how about busty mages?
I personally like the idea. They can serve as mana reservoirs or they can be used to bounce speels back into the caster. So many possibilities *dreams*

And here I get hypocritical because...

This. I've done karate before (not much of it but took a few classes) and I had to bind mine. I would imagine that female warriors would have to do that.

I'd guess that given these armours can pretty rigid piece of garment compared to our today's clothes (or the kimono) it could act itself very much like sport bra or the binding -- as long as it's fitting to the form it just doesn't leave the room for the flesh to move about?

Compression is the most effective form of control.  *shrugs*

I LOVE MY MINIONS!

You are ALL going to suffer right along with me tomorrow!

Do you use the Reaver spec by any chance?

No, berserker.  ^_^

Now, all I need to do now if figure out to make the video using Fraps be not so huge.

I usually pop mine open in windows movie maker, and upload straight to youtube from there, it should save a local (smaller) copy and you can delete the original. Just don't do what I did. I had just gotten this pc, and suddenly my 450gb hard drive was 99% full. I had hit my video hotkey and forgot to hit it again to turn it off. THEN I did it again, but hit my video key by accident when going for my screenshot key. I have since moved video to a button far away from screenshot.

A peculiar issue/bug has come to my attention and I could use some help locating the cause. Alistair will no longer converse in the wild. His normal dialogue options are available at Ostagar, but disappear when you go to the wilds, and stay gone when you get back to Ostager. They may reappear later, I don't know, but this just won't do. I tried removing everything from my override folder, and uninstalling any mod that didn't come from Bioware. No difference. I was going to try an old game, but didn't have one. I asked Lady Damodred to check, and it was the same for her. Does anyone not have the latest patch/Awakening installed so we can see if that's what did it?

That...is the oddest explanation for big-breasted mages I've heard yet. Though don't lie, KoP, you just want a bigger breasted Morrigan :P

No, Morrigan is perfect as she is and I want absolutely nothing changed about her.

@ Surely. And that's a fine set of magical twins! I am pretty sure Templar helmets are designed to reduce visibility, because no one would want to hurt those.

It was always that way for me. After you get the quest from Duncan, you can't talk to him freely until you're rescued by Flemeth. There was a mod that allowed you to ask him about the Joining after you got the quest, but I don't think you're supposed to be able to converse with him at that point in the vanilla game.

No, I've always been able to talk to him in the Wilds. It was just this last playthrough that I wasn't.

I no one is without the new patch, I'll uninstall and check that, but I'd prefer not to do that if we can rule it out otherwise. Actually, I hope that's what it is, because if it isn't, it's a ghost in the machine, and I really, really hate those.

Ok, can someone who use fraps and then uploads video walk me through compressing the video with either vdub, xvid, or even movie maker? PM is fine. I just don't ever re-encode video, so I has no idea what I'm doing.

I can only go by opinions of others here Posted Image  but it'd seem at least some claim it's the opposite (the Wikipedia article on sports bra)

"A 2007 study found that breasts move in three planes of motion during exercise. This study concluded that encapsulation bras are more effective than compression bras at reducing total breast motion during exercise because encapsulation bras reduce motion in two of the three planes, while compression bras reduce motion in only one plane."

the encapsulation thing is pretty much like what the armour does so dunno... and ok, guilty as charged, this is just an excuse to talk about the breasts some more Posted Image

Huh, you learn something new every day. I used a binder that transgendered women wear to bind themselves (no jokes, kthnx). I wish, instead of regular bras they had something like that in the game. But I'm weird because I like heavily armored chicks that don't look like Valkyries.

Alrighty, let me be more specific.  First of all, proper fit under the bust line is crucial.  It's what actually does most of the support in a properly fitted bra.  After that, straps that sit correctly on the shoulders if very helpful.  I find, with very large breasts, that compression is helpful as well, but that could be what personally feels better to me.

I actually quite agree with that. When I was trying compression style bras, I used to need 2 of them to do any strenous workouts, and I'd still feel the need to hold them as I ran. With the newer types they don't give you uni-boob, I only need one, and I can do my 5ks without holding them!

I'm going to get you one of those bras that have those waterbags in it so you can see how it feels to have breasts. :PBreasts are only useful for one thing.

There is a certain appeal to that, ironically. (they can look cute)
But let's not get out of hand here (I can't believe I am quoting Aistair!)

Feeding a baby? Though I think that you cou;d probably do both at the same time:lol:

I like to imagine that my female Wardens motivate her troops by flashing them before the battle. (okay, not really, but it's fun to think about)

EDIT
Posted Image

All this talk of breasts is offending Alistair's delicate sensibilities. Also, I've never realized how much of an egomanic I am, all my pictures have my character in it in some way.
