Like the modded version of Tamlen and your Dalish (She has the same tattoo like mine <3 )
Fist-bump to the Dalish sisterhood.
I was thinking that it really does make it difficult to write backstory when you know so little of the lore and the nitty-gritty. I've probably got a PhD in Middle Earth, but Thedas is sketchy and especially the Dalish. We have only a brief interlude with them in The Stolen Throne and no example of a Dalish Grey Warden. Kell might be a decent figure to stand in for a Dalish, though it's hardly the same.
My character will probably be worked out around her name, Idun, the Norse goddess of spring. I had already decided to make her a wolf-shifter (also via a mod!) and tonight I read that in one of the stories of Idun, she is brought back by the gods from the winter realms in order to revive the earth and is covered in a wolfskin cloak for the journey. Cool, eh? She was said to give strength (to warriors, for instance
) as well as to inspire poets. I might have to make her friends with Leliana. Maker help me.
The tattoos are supposed to represent the creators. Do you have a story on what your character's tattoo represents?
Heh, sure *high five*

I know what you mean, all the Dalish infos are sketchy at best. Makes me go raaaaaawr at BW for their lazy-as$ treatment of them...though I really like the stories about the gods, however. I can't remember them all if I'm honest and have to reread them for my FF when she is hitting the dalish camp for the threatie, but you really hit the spot with Idun, well done ^^ Yes, I was overjoyed as I read the bit about the Dalish elves in TST and even borrowed their name for Flemeth to let it Lenya use for her.
Eww, Leliana. Normally I like her but she is just confusing my Dalish, aside that she thinks that shem is nuts with her babbling of that shem-god and all that

Took Alistair a hard time and mixture of nagging and convincing to make Lenya agree with Leliana joining their group. So may the creators guide you through this task...I think my Dalish will pass on that one for a long while.

Oh i would looove, LOVE to have a backstory on the tattoo she has, especially when the times comes where she will explain the Vallaslin- the blood writing to Alistair in my story. Alas I dunno what this tattoo means and only chose it because I thought it was pretty at the time. Lol

Do you know the meaning? I'm at loss here
