But thats NOT the one I want to kill...We don't know what this person is like in that reality. We don't know what ANY of them are like in this reality. Now if I got to go toe to toe with my PC as a hurlock and battle the rest of them yes, but this ...no this DLC doesn't tempt me at all. Its one ginormous weenie stroke for the PC's ego.

Technically the Teyrnir of Highever was supposed to be the Howe's because Conobar (who Flemeth murdered) was the Bann then, and was a cousin to the Howes. His sheriff or something got the land instead of the Howes, for whatever reason. The sheriff's name was Sarim Cousland. Thus, the Howes might view it as the Couslands stealing their land.
Not to mention the Couslands were prefered, so that might sow some bad seeds.
I would say, incorrect. When the Couslands rose to power, there was no teyrnir then. Highever did not become a teyrnir until the Black Age and the werewolf threat. Banns under one of the Couslands (Haelia or some other dude, codexes conflict) swore fealty to the Couslands, elevating them to teyrns.

The Couslands were not supposed to get the land, the Howes were because they were related to Conobar. Or am I wrong? -is also confused-

No, there's nothing wrong with them getting the land. Conobar died without heirs, meaning the Highever lands (which were probably a bannorn) would have simply passed on to whoever could take them, which in this case was the Couslands. They were sort of part of the Amaranthine Bannorn (which was not yet an arling, apparently), and they declared their indepence. After the ensuing war, they took half of Amaranthine.
That seem right/make sense?
Edit: There doesn't seem to be anything to indicate a relation between Conobar and the Howes. And now back to work with me.

Also, LOL. I think the Maker was guiding my hand when I finally desecrated the Ashes and took her with me "for the lulz".

Howes had that land to begin with since Highever was "originally an outpost of the then-expanding Amaranthine Bannorn". They just picked a 'wrong' person to maintain it after their cousin's bloodline expired -- a Cousland who wasn't satisfied with what they were given and sought to get more.Kryyptehk wrote...

I didn't know what I wanted done either -- I just told her I wanted Gilsa and Gorim together and she was the one that suggested the prison scene. Very easy to work with. I would PM her here or on the DA site to show your interest and the ball can start rolling from there. She also has a very simple picture of Zevran and the Warden sitting down being next to each other and sometimes that kind of scene is all you really need!LadyDamodred wrote...
Gilsa: Ty for linking that commission pic. I am srsly considering have a Lya/Alistair one done, if I can figure out what I want.
I am eating all the spoilers here, people. LOVING IT.
If that Leliana and Alistair pairing is true, I may be the only person actually relieved. I was the same way about finding Gorim married in Denerim -- it is a situation where I knew the PC couldn't realistically be with that person and I was happy to find the person was able to find happiness. I am glad that Alistair was able to find his happiness. I mean, if you died in RL, would you want your husband to remarry eventually so he can be happy instead of mourning over you the rest of his life? Eh, different strokes, but I hope that analogy makes sense!

Howe, Cauthrien, Perth are all yellow names (Liutenant?) Bosses so far have been Teagan and Oghren. seeing things from this side is strange, and no communication is really challenging.
And this isn't a good guy, so heres my ritual dismemberment. Without his head I guess you don't know who he is...but lets just say the city elves would be pleased with his death.

I mean he does not kill Loghain for that reason (the backstabbing).
He kills him out of pure lust for revenge.
Call me weird but i see nothing wrong with wanting to execute the man who have attempted to kill you and bunch of your mates out of a paranoia. It's just a practical way to ensure he doesn't try it again.
It's weird when you also have no problem sparing the man that was his second and was behind most of his actions.
except if you read the second cutscene just after you find out about zevran then it shows the next denerim cutscene it's loghain not arl howe who says first we get the nobles in line then we can concentrate on the darkspawn and arl howe says pretty soon we wont have enough men to fight the darkspawn, so loghain is just as responsible if not more so for alot of the evil doings not arl howe, just thought i'd point that out and also it was loghain not arl howe who hired berwick to watch arl eamon after he had him poisoned, and he personally hired jowan, not to mention all the other deceptions, hmmmmm wow he's such a nice guy loghain (sarcasm)

I don't really mind Alistair hooking up with Leliana *shrug* It's not like you and Alistair were in a romance before you died, so I don't really have an issue with it. I have more of an issue with the fact that this AU exists in the first place than Alistair's LI.
