Don't encourage its posts Yuki. Costin is just trolling the thread trying to be as argumentative as he can be to get a rise out of those this will upset. Best to just ignore that kind of pollywog and its attention span will direct it elsewhere to argue with someone else.

Probably right. I have no plans on buying it definitely now, as I am looking at reviews and summaries. It seems to have a convoluted alternate reality, which would actually be interesting to play if it actually added anything to the main storyline, or developed the world and it's possibilities further. So far, I have seen no evidence for this. Very much bare bones hack and slash stuff. Many of the people you can kill are already killable in the normal game (Howe, Vaughn, Cauthrien, ect), and I see only a small handful of new killables that would be nice (Habren, Goldanna) but certainly not enough to warrant interest and purchase.

So, I shall pass this one up, and wait sadly and patiently for yet another DLC to be released, which, hopefully, will be adding to the game and world itself.

Go to Nexus and Download Emmisary. From what I've played, and from what I've seen from my friends Diablo in Thedas game currently going on, I got the much better deal.

Yeah, me either, but it's like reality television--cheaper and easier than storytelling. If this sell even marginally well, it will be more profitable than other types of DLC and we will see more of it. And since it tells no story, there will be none of the complaints about how that was handled as with previous DLC. They could end up seeing fewer complaints and bigger profits and get the message that this is a good way to go. It's discouraging.

This. I'm just "eh" about it. The Alistair/Leliana surprised me but beyond that, whatever, y'know? I'm not going to buy something that I have no feeling toward.

It doesn't really work that way. If a company is producing high quality games then they will continue doing so. DLCs for ME2 and Dragon Age are not that great, but the games that will come out will sure be.

Take for example Blizzard. They added some minor stuff to World of Warcraft. and everyone complained about it for the exact same reasons, and yet the newest game they are releasing ( Starcraft 2 ) is top notch in the quality department.

That would just mean I don't buy anything like this anymore and I really don't think I am missing out.  Origins has so much replayability and new mods come out all the time (Just played Return to Korcari Wilds) and some of the fan done mods are as good as the Bioware ones.

Does Leliana get a separate codex entry? On the 36 version (well, at least my game) nothing popped up for her. The Bard and the Templar, eh? I'm not surprised. They'd be the ~natural~ fit if you're not a fem!pc romancing him.
