Did they say why Oghren was in Denerim? He was giving up everything by going to the surface so I had wondered if there was a codex for him or if he was just conveniently there for the PC to kill en route.

He let Morrigan do all the choices. Obviously, and Morrigan has no qualms about killing Loghain

Or did you miss the part he was not a leader?

Morrigan probably refused to keep Oghren in her party, same for Zevran ( probably only spared him because of Leliana's insistence ). Sten probably left her in disgust, annoyed at her teasing.

Well apparently he romanced Leliana, got the werewolves, golems and templars. Eamon was not revived.

Why the hell Eamon isn't revived?
So they forced us to look for a mythical item, while Alsitair conveniently didn't waste his time doing it? Why?

Because as much as we love him, he's not that great of a Warden? And I bet Morrigan talked (bullied) him out of it.

And it's Eamon! Wouldn't he fight tooth and nail to cure him?

An who called the Landsmeet? And why is he even King? Did Anora trip and fall on Cauthrien's sword? Did Loghain commit suicide?

(One reason I despise AU fics cause its just a tag some people put on their fanfics so they can retool the NPCs in the game to whatever they want them to be). Its not "relatable" to me I guess. I dunno. I suck at expressing myself *facepalm*

And here you hit on why fanfiction and this DLC both hit the same nerve with me.  If you're going to do it, make it real and believable and... something.

I killed Alistair in my first playthrough of the Warden Commander ending this weekend and I cried actual tears.  These shots just make me roll my eyes and wonder what combustible substance they handed out at this development meeting.

That's it.  This DLC is crappy fanfiction.  I hadn't hit on why I found it so Posted Image before.  Thank you!

I'm sticking to the Bongwater theory.Posted Image

I'm glad they went with 'Barkspawn' instead of 'Rabbit', which is, I'm sure, what Leliana would have picked.

:(

That's what my people usually pick. It's what my nobles alway pick

My characters usually name it after someone from their origin that they'll miss or has died and my noble has decided to become a Loghain fangirl and so named it after him. Alistair wasn't happy, but he understood that she couldn't just change his name of several years because Loghain was hunting them now. She was glad to let Alistair deal the final blow to her childhood hero, though.

I usually name mine Potatosack or Loaf. I named him Cailan in my last playthrough :innocent: Maybe I'll call him Lelistair next... :D

So he expects you to go all the way to the Circle Tower to save Connor and Isolde but he can't even go to Haven for Eamon?

Perhaps they got stuck at the puzzle part... Posted Image

I find it funny that they made Alistair decide the choices that the majority consider "bad" (I don't, but I don't see how he would do it). Is this supposed to teach us a lesson or something?

Ok, I will officially ask for all of your signatures in a collective and united declaration that all content in this DLC will not be considered at all worthwhile and is purely irrelevent. That means that I will not consider Alistair sparing Howe and slaughtering the Dalish and other decisions, nor will I consider that Alsitair secretly loves Leliana. In reciprocation, you people will not question Morrigan's invincibility and immortality, nor will you assume that she made Alistair's choices, as they evidently led to distaster.

I will be the first to sign. ~KoP~

Those are some pretty strict quidelines. And it seems pretty one sided. You won't get my signature until negotiations are done.

OK, so you don't get the codex on the character until after you kill them. But once they are dead, cutscene and then it's over. So how are people reading anything the NPCs?

I wonder if Howe was alive...does that mean Anora was dead? I know Loghain wouldn't have killed his daughter but given half a chance Howe sure would have. Is that how Alistair became the king? no one opposed it?

At least Alistair told Zevran to buzz off. That seems a bit believable.

Did anyone get a Codex for Alistair?
