I agree but I say we all drop the subject, given the fact this is serious argument fodder. I've been on forums where people left the site because of arguments about circumcision. I'm wary discussing it.

What a silly reason.

Have you ever been on a parenting forum? Yeah, people are supportive up until you disagree with their parenting decisions, even politely. There are more arguments there than in politic forums.

Circumcision and breastfeeding decisions cause the most drama I have ever seen in any forum/message board. Followed closely by co-sleeping, cloth diapers vs diposable, and vaccines vs anti-vaccines. You are safe discussing Exile Alistair Vs Loghain. Believe me.  I'm just glad when I had my kids it was well before all these things were hot topics. Boys were circumcised, babies were bottlefed without reproach, and cloth diapers were  not even on the radar.

Lol, I tried the cloth diapering thing, it doesn't work too well, my son soaked the diapers through:lol:. But I did breastfeed but I feel no need to hound people about their decisions. That is why I left the forum I was on, because some of the groups there were so self-righteous. It's nice being on a forum where we can argue about a fictional character killing another fictional character;)

I was told over the winter "I hope you enjoy your constantly sick children leeching the healthcare system" because I didn't breastfeed. Funny thing is, my kids have no allergies, and rarely even get colds. I think we have to visit a doc maybe...once every few years, usually accidents..lol. They've each been on antibiotics exactly twice in their 15 and 16 years of life. Meanwhile I know "better moms" that have their kids in the doc's office every other week during cold season. Me, my kids get the rare cold ...I make em drink tons of water, and sleep with vicks rub on their chest and throat...lol I feel so old some times!

Of course they are. Never said they weren't. I was merely stating that many people do not see it as having benefits, and thus, do not have it routinely performed. I think most modern societies world wide allow it, elective or not, religous or not, provided the proceedure is performed by people who are medically trained.

That the whole concept varies world wide, from culture to culture, is even more interesting, especially when you cross racial, ethnic, religous, and national boundaries and find how motivations remain the same, or differ greatly.

Obviously.

And as much as I would love to keep talking about wenkies (not really), I think we should call the discussion off. It's been interesting while it lasted Posted Image

I'm weird but that is my favorite part of a man's body. Hence why I like Ali so much, Zev just doesn't have the same musculatur.

Alistair's back is super sexy. He's still getting executed though.

Ugh, I hate people like that. I hate hypochondriacs even more though.

"Oh, he's playing with his ear, he has an ear infection!"

That's more from living near my son's great-grandmother though, it drives me batty lol

Zev's built much like my hubby...which is probably why I keep being tempted by him in each game. That little red haired dwarf back there is going for the Zev Lovin<3.

When does Teagan say marmalade? I haven't heard it.

you tell Connor "I've come to help the people you've terrorized" and he says "we were just having fun, weren't we Uncle?" and thats Teagan's reply to that question.  "MAAARMALADE" (hence the marmalade references I have been making in conjuction with Teagan in earlier posts) Posted Image  Its freaking hilarious when he says it too.

Seriously, I decided to just torture my HNF with Morrigan and Anora. I was gonna be player Cousland, but I think not.

Alright, since my husband was going to buy it anyway, I decided to take cmessaz's advice and try to purge the hate.

It was boring as hell.  No wonder the darkspawn lost in the real world- they're all S&S.  I was so relieved once I could finally get an emissary to control.

You'll be happy to know that Maricstair did not go down easily, and he kept running after the archdemon.  All in all pretty anti-climactic.  He didn't gaze fondly at Leliana or anything, thank the Maker.

I mean really- that's what you get for wearing a dress to a dragon fight.

Then again, Alistair was wearing a dress, too.

I guess it did the trick.  I don't hate Alistair (much).  Just the stupid DLC.  But my husband will probably like it- he plays silly MMOs like that.

Maricstair inspires me to remove my eyeballs with a spoon. It's the hair I think.

I didn't pay attention that closely.  He does have a health bar but he was nowhere near dead.  Alistair was the only one who gave us remotely any trouble, and half the time Archie was shaking him like a rag doll.

You big doofus.  It's Bioware's fault for torturing you.  How can a guy get hardened when someone's prattling in his ear about shoes and eyelash collections?
