I've always kept Alistair with S&S warrior because I'm always the DW warrior.  Well this playthrough I'm doing both DW warriors for something different.

Yes, and that will appear every time you elect to remain in denerim. It is set to in the toolset. So I'm figuring out the technical crap, someone else can figure out what they should say.

No not yet. I am setting out to correct that. Why would Anora be annoyed if you are the Queen? Now the problem comes for those who marry Alistair to Anora and remain as his lover. Not sure how that will work.

I'm not sure, it's just the slide that shows up. I always found that slide to be a bit... yeah. I hardly see why what Anora thinks matters unless Alistair is married to her (and even then I am not inclined to care)

It is the only slide available in the toolset and it is set to alistair in love and player remains in denerim. So whether or not you are marrying him, or whether or not he is king, makes no difference, which is stupid.

I don't have a respec mod, so all I did was let him wield S&S until I had built up a bit of dex and given him some DW talents, then switched him over.  Don't forget to re-set his tactics.

I got the respec mod with the bird/vial. Haven't had any problems at all with it.

My HNF had pre-arranged the Anora marriage and then pulled a fast one at the Landsmeet and married Alistair herself, but I still got the "much to Queen Anora's annoyance" epilogue slide.

I was soooo scared of seeing The Eyelash Queen come through the gate of Vigil's Keep.

For the quickest fix, I could create a generic slide. This would appear when Alistair is in love, regardless of marriage. This would replace the current "Alistair remained by his love's side, much to anora's discomfort" slide that you currently get (without mods).  It needs to be generic enough to fit both the mistress and the wife ending.

Oh.  So you just need someone to test it?  Recall when I said I have many saves?

I think with that card the reason she's annoyed, whether your married to him or not your still in the picture.  If your his mistress she's annoyed and if your married to him she should be really annoyed.  Not only has she lost her throne but if Alistair's not leaving his wife's side then there's no way in hell Anora's even going to get a chance to get back on the throne. 
And she definitely can't try and seduce Alistair if your married to him if he never leaves your side


The only time that Anora could try and pull a coup is if you do marry him, or become his mistress, you decide to stay with the Grey Wardens and Alistair follows.  She should just be executed lol.  Even if she's sent away she could still try and pull a coup.  I'm pretty sure there's still enough people around that are still on Anora's team.

Hm, I do have that pre-Landsmeet save, and I also have a post-coronation save for the queen who chooses to stay in Denerim. I'm up for helping out however I can

It doesn't say annoyed it says discomfort. This basically I believe meant to only appear when Anora is sole Queen, but the player decides to stay in Denerim. The slide is freaking annoying when your future Queen decides to stay in Denerim, but her King takes off and Anora is discomforted. Oh the horror. Poor freakin Anora. Did I mention I could care less what she thinks? It sure isn't worth a mention in my epilogue.
And everyone of us has to post one Alistair screenshot when we reach 100, for the celebrations. Fine cheese consumption is also encouraged.

Wouldn't it be more logical that this should trigger when Anora and Alistair marry but you remain in Denerim as his bit on the side?

And yeah, like I could give a flying cheese wheel what Anora thinks.  Ask her if she would feel any discomfort having her head on the executioner's block... or subject to something more subtle a la Zevran.


Edit:  Ooh, top of the page, and Alistair is feeling horny.
