This is the finished chest. It will probably be T7 I suppose so, people can use it in Awakening if they want to. I haven't given too much thought to stats yet. I dicussed it briefly w/ Cmessaz and we were talking about possibly just using the stats from other T7 pieces in the game to keep it from being OP.
Personally I could care less about items being OP. I don't really play for the challenge anymore. Even w/ the Nightmare Mode Plus (mod from Nexus) and the mod for shared cds on potions it isn't that challenging because I know every encounter now.
I'll have to see if I can dig up the stats for the other T7 items here shortly.
I like OP actually. It means I can equip it, and KEEP it. Like you, I'm not in it for the challenge. I know what I'm doing now and know the fights. I just like having my characters dressed in "uniform" not scrounging for stuff all through the game, or having to do X and Y to get Z piece of equipment. Especially going into Awakening as Warden Commander, they should look the part and be able to wear it the entire campaign.
My HNF/Queen will so be wearing this, and her starfang, made for HER hand, and Maric's blade because Alistair wouldn't let her go off and fight without it. If he couldn't be there, his sword could.
I like having their equipped items be a part of their story.

Ok, I restored six conversations between Alistair and Zevran and put them back into the game. I'm uploading them to youtube but it's a long process (it will be a few more hours before all are uploaded). I can give links as they become available if anyone is interested. Here's the first -- Alistair asking Zevran for romance advice! If I just posted this when you click the link, I will promise that the quality WILL improve. Note the sexy dwarf!

I play rogues that way. Defense is very important for me, but high dexterity means you get that anyway, so I really only look for +def equipment early in the game. Yay Chasind robe. Physical resistance, not so much- though I do put Hale runes on rogues since I use them as regular melee fighters.Serissia wrote...
How many people play rogues as basically duel weapon fighters in the thick of things? I don't play my rogue this way. I need to know how important stats like defense or physical resistance are to you. I think personally they're useless. I hit stealth whenever I get aggro.

IA replaces lot of default items with their own versions. When you remove/disable it, the game can no longer access these items when restoring your save meaning you're left without them i.e. pretty much naked and/or without weapons. It doesn't fall back to the default gear because there's technically no connection between these modified items and the old ones.cmessaz wrote...
So I removed IA, and all of my saves while I had it are useless. There is an "invisible object" at camp, and everyone is naked. All of my custom armor and weapons are gone, not just IA's. Also, I uninstalled ZevranASAP, but it is still working. Would someone please explain this to me???

DW, Stealth. Not to into PR or MR or Def but my dex is insane so things don't really hit me much. So def dex (maybe a ltitle cunning for the stealth thing) is what I look for. My rogues always use daggers and my last one was a dalish ranger who used archery tree of talents.

Serously, my inventory is practically emtpy. Any idea why ZevASAP is still working when uninstalled?tmp7704 wrote...

I play mine generally as Assassin duelist. So I'm always in the thick of it. At a certain point I start taking archer talents, but I never take stealth because...well it LOOKS ridiculous to just vanish. So as far as I'm converned, what makes my rogues "stealthy" is their speed and ability to just not be where the blade falls. But if you play that way, you generally get alot of your dodge/defense from talents. I don't think any of my leathers except the felons coat ever had much. Shadow Warden's stats are pretty well done, except for the boots, they're rather sparse.

Making a wild guess, it allows you to pick up Zevran sooner by setting a plot flag. Plot flags are stored in your save file so they'll persist even after you uninstall the mod, as long as you load saved game with that flag already set/flipped/whatever.cmessaz wrote...

Well, I disabled it before my current game, but uninstalled it later. Crap.tmp7704 wrote...

Are you on a PC? If so, you just rotate around with the mouse. Sometimes you have to switch characters to ger the POV that you want.

I take that back...they're pretty low for t7. The best setup I think I had was bards dancing boots (+6 def, reduces hostility), shadow wardens coat (6 dex, 9def, +1 stam regen in combat, +15 physical resistance), and I forget which gloves but they had 15% backstab/crit...the BEST gloves ever came from awakening. Slippery Ferrets gloves (4 dex. 8 cunning, 10% ranged crit, 10% melee crit). Unfortunately it didn't match >.<
