It doesn't say annoyed it says discomfort. This basically I believe meant to only appear when Anora is sole Queen, but the player decides to stay in Denerim. The slide is freaking annoying when your future Queen decides to stay in Denerim, but her King takes off and Anora is discomforted. Oh the horror. Poor freakin Anora. Did I mention I could care less what she thinks? It sure isn't worth a mention in my epilogue.
And everyone of us has to post one Alistair screenshot when we reach 100, for the celebrations. Fine cheese consumption is also encouraged.
I was just about to say that. It only appears to show up undar that dialogue tree. Misfiring somehow? That would be my guess. B/c, quite honestly, it doesn't make any more sense to me now than it did the first time I saw it.

LMAO! She is discomforted if she is queen because of the fact that even though Alistair swore fealty, there are those who would rather see a Theirin on the throne.Addai67 wrote...
Wouldn't it be more logical that this should trigger when Anora and Alistair marry but you remain in Denerim as his bit on the side?cmessaz wrote...

And yeah, like I could give a flying cheese wheel what Anora thinks. Ask her if she would feel any discomfort having her head on the executioner's block... or subject to something more subtle a la Zevran.
Hey! We should create an optional mass execution card for :Anora, Isolde, and anyone else we want to see hung!
(that was a joke)

I don't see any alternative slide, honestly. It looks to me like this is what you get if you are in love with Alistair and elect to remain in Denerim. STOOOPIDLadyDamodred wrote...

Again the parameters for this slide are: Alistair is in love, player remaining in Denerim.

I'm wondering if it's not supposed to show if you are queen. Hmmm. The slide shows up under the 'romances tree', but as 'In love with Alistair, Alistair not exiled'. The marriage slide appears much earlier under 'Sole king/marrying player - romance with Alistair'. Seems more like it shouldnt be seen at all, or it's missing one for marrying him.

Sadly, while it is definately doable to create seperate slides for the different scenareos, I think the fastest and easiest way to correct this little annoyance is to create a generic slideshow card. And what better place than the Alistair gush thread to get ideas on what it should say. Start handing out idea, people. Remember, it has to be fairly generic for this easy quick fix. I will look at doing something more later, like a unique one for the marriage, mistress, etc but honestly with everything I am trying to do right now it will be a while.
Again the parameters for this slide are: Alistair is in love, player remaining in Denerim.
Actually, the best way would be simply to remove the reference to Anora. Do that, and it's fine.

I was thinking that, but why would Alistair be called to a far off fortress? Unfortunately I can't see beyond that in my toolset......LadyDamodred wrote...

Thanks! She is my healing/supportive mage. I just made her a set of Grand Cleric robes with decent stats for a spirit healer.Bratt1204 wrote...

Ladydamodred, to see the actual flag, underneath the actual dialogue tree there is a tab that says "plots and scripting" this will show you what the flag is currently set at. If that were the case, then you would see something like "If Not: Player_marry_alistair" (or something similar) Or that could be in the "scripting comments" also.
I see the tab with plots and scritping, except they're all blanks. :/

Because neither he nor your character are dead. >.> That makes the most sense, imo. Not that we have to put a reason. We could tweak it a bit like 'leaving his love's side only to answer a summons to Weisshaupt'. I mean, I can imagine Weisshaupt has a lot of questions that don't even have to do with why you're both still alive.

Click on the line that you are looking for, and click up the conv. tree till you find the flag. It's a pain, I know.LadyDamodred wrote...

Of off the Alistair FB fanclub pages. There are some really great pic of him. Since I cannot contribute much to the exchange of conversation regarding toolset manipulation, I figured at least I can contribute by posting hot pics

It just says 'staying in denerim/PC_STAYING' so triggered by Alistair asking you what you're going to be doing?
