Since I probably am going to have to reinstall my game and lose all my characters, I will take my rage out with plan B. Put Alistair's head on Jory and my PC head on Duncan during the joining. Then I get to stab him. That should work! Then I can get my little tantrum over with!

That is the best kiss in the game, actually, even vanilla is amazing.  The only way to get it though (unless, ummm, you have it modded with a mod I never actually released, but have made available -- for users of the DT compatible version of ZevRing -- I added a few more changes, but I digress) is to first wait for Zevran to proposition the warden, then take the conversation trees that lead to the warden saying, "I don't know about this..." to which Zevran replies something like, "If you're not of a mind, however," to which the warden replies, "I'm definitely of a mind."  The vanilla kiss is to the point where Zevran kneels, puts his hand on his/her face, kisses her, then fades to black as he puts his arms around her.  Charsen's mod, as you saw, extends it further.

...Why did I not think of this. I'd be much less torn about Aidan's ending. Crapstcks, I sense an Aidan 2.0 coming on. Same morph, new name, new game.

I have to give KoP credit for this. He mentioned that in one of his dwarven games, he put his brother on the throne and did not harden Alistair (to keep him weak and more easily controlled) while putting him on the throne, too. He also had Alistair do the dark ritual because 1) he didn't trust Morrigan 2) wasn't about to put HIS seed in her and 3) it was another way to control Alistair (blackmail material) 4) whatever happened, it wouldn't be HIS fault because that wasn't HIS baby. He made himself Alistair's chancellor so he could plot with Bhelen for global domination. This was just so diabolical and sinister that I thought this was brilliant. I'm not playing my current DN as sinister, but definitely political. A mini-Anora of sorts!  (My first DN = pure commander, second DN = total politician. I don't really want a third DN -- my brain is hurting already.)

Well I've played the victim in the DNF story, maybe it's time to play the kinslayer and poiltical side of it. Man, what an origin...I get the dwarf love now. I just won't pick up Shayle this time, I've never sided with Branka. I've never sided with the werewolves. Maybe I can do it this time. After my commoner gets played of course.

I don't know which version of Zevring I actually have...I didn't get a kiss with my ring however if that helps. Gah I have so many friggin mods. I do have DT, ZevASAP, Zevring, Charsen's Kisses, and TMP's Mild Sex Scenes, and ZDF, and Gatekisses. Must finish Aidan and get to playing Tryna so I can experience the Zev fully...and with my mods hopefully in order.

I assumed that everyone here always made Alistair king, so that's the situation I was talking about. ^^'

I've only made Alistair king once and I don't have that game anymore. I am actually going out of my way to make him king this time although I generally prefer Anora to rule alone. =p

Edit: No, wait, I have been marrying Alistair off to Anora so I can tell Morrigan to get bent when she brings up the dark ritual. I was thinking of sole king or sole queen, my bad. Not romancing him in those games though.

I have made him king once (marrying my Warden), all the other playthroughs are (going to be): Alistair marries Anora, recruting Loghain, refuse the DR and let Loghain kill himself.

That's my canon character's ending. It sucked that Alistair walked out at Landsmeet like that, but I really felt it was the best gameplay choice. I am hoping that we'll be able to find drunk Alistair and attempt to recruit him back into the Grey Wardens. Loghain got his redemption, why not let Alistair have his? If he's gone forever, oh well, David Gaider did swear there would be a dwarf romance at some point. =p

I'm thinking of trying a Warden ending on my new Dalish character, if I can stomach doing the Alistair romance at all with the Leliana  in the back of my mind.  But to me, Alistair is just the king.  He is.  He's so like Maric that to not make him king just seems wrong.  And marrying him to Anora is so cruel, can't do that anymore either.
