The DLC Alistair isn't Alistair anyway.  His cutscenes are literally seconds, and when you're fighting him it's just like fighting any other boss.  I didn't even hear any of his combat lines, which might have made me pause sadly if I had.  The one little bit of pathos was that he kept running towards the archdemon in a single-minded way.

I'm being very generous in even using the word "pathos" in connection with the DLC.

Oh yes, he had combat lines alright. broke my heart every time I heard them.

Could I beg one of you toolset experts to take a look at a Gorim scene in Denerim and tell me where I'm going wrong? My frustration stems from the fact that I'm supposed to be able to tell Gorim that I'm in love with either the future king of Ferelden (or the current king) and I cannot get this dialogue to show up. I broke it off with Alistair and turned on the Zevran romance and that line shows up just fine.



Alistair already told me he's the bastard prince and I've already revived the arl. They've already said they want to put Alistair on the throne for Landsmeet and this is still not triggering. I still have to finish Brecilian and Orzammar before I can get to Landsmeet and return to Gorim and tell him officially that I'm in love with a king instead so I can't test that out yet.

I did notice that in the toolset, to tell Gorim you're in love with Zevran/Morrigan/Leliana, the only required flag is APP_ZEVRAN_ROMANCE _ACTIVE. For Alistair, the flags are DEN_PARTY_ALISTAIR_IN_ROMANCE_AND_NOT_KING_YET or DEN_PARTY_ALISTAIR_IN_ROMANCE_AND_KING

Is this bugged or have I not met the right conditions in my game yet? I just want to make sure that we can tell Gorim we're in love with Alistair even though we have no intenion of crowning him.

She is just amused at him being scared. Tis all.

The important thing is, it's all business and nothing personal. The same cannot be said about Leli and Ali
