I see the problem.  Code is bad.

Edit: Code is bad for the first condition at least.  The first will only trigger if he's solo king.

Second edit: It would be an easy fix, but I have no clue what it's for.

This is the Gorim reunion in Denerim for the dwarf noble so DN can tell him they're in love with a companion. The option to tell him the DN is in love with Alistair is not coming up. Would definitely appreciate the help. I just want to hear Gorim laugh.

Should be in Landsmeet (Denerim) > den200ar_market > den200_gorim.



Edit: I haven't gotten far enough in the game to get to Landsmeet/crown Alistair and then tell Gorim she's in love with a king. I just can't get the "in love with a future king" to trigger even though the arl is revived and wants me to finish up the treaties so they can get to Landsmeet.

They always do that when you're fighting NPCs.  Wynne came up with a Crushing Prison once.  As soon as you recruit them, they get amnesia about such things.

Wynne was harder to beat than Morri, sorry folks.  They should have given her blood magic, then I really might have been worried.

Ahh, according to the code you should get the "not yet king" option once the Landsmeet plot starts, as long as Alistair is in romance with you and the Landsmeet is not yet done. Once it's done, you get the "human king" option if Alistair is made sole king in the Landsmeet.

I take it you have the romance open with Alistair but he's marrying Anora?  If he's going to be solo king, then there's a deeper problem.  If he's marrying Anora, it's just a couple of lines of code.  

The problem I have is even though I could fix it easily for ZDF, I don't want to take out my changes to it which add flags for certain conditions for the alienage conversation.  I'll edit it though for people who use ZDF and City Elf Alienage Fix.

Edit: Actually, I can't assume anything by the code.  Is this before Alistair is king?

Yes, this is before Alistair is king. My plan was to make him solo king later on. The romance is active (90+). I was trying to figure out if I wasn't meeting the right conditions in the game or if the coding was preventing this from firing. If it's a lot of work, don't kill yourself. It's just one little line and I don't know that anyone will miss not seeing it in game since they tend to run to Denerim first thing to have their hearts broken by Gorim instead before they romance anyone else.

What is so wrong with Leliana? Why is it such a slap in the face/affront that Totally Not Real Alistair might find companionship in the absence of your PC? It's not even like the quest crap which could definitely be chalked up to PC awesomeness, since relationships have a tendency to almost always happen when people are thrown together and spend a ton of time together. I do not understand why fans of his character would rather he end up with Morrigan, who hates him and is diametrically opposed to his fundamental worldview, than with Leliana, who at least treats him well, respects him, and shares common morals.

And! If the female PC exists, we all know that Leliana is totally zeroed in on that and can only be bothered to think of Alistair as "a roadblock to her relationship with the Warden".
