Ok the game is constantly running way to fast. I am getting like 200FPS spikes and the game zips along. Kind of like running a 386 game on your computer nowadays. The frame rate does not seem capped and will run too fast. My computer is nothing special either. I am also running at max settings and I can't slow the game down.

Other people are experiencing this problem but no one has a solution.

don't waste time bumping... take this one to EA directly... sounds bad I know but this is all user support so you won't get any official help otherwise

I have the same problem. Note that the cutscenes 'warp' most of the time as well, which is quite annoying.

Specs are quite similar to those above: AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 60000+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz Memory: 2046MB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 320.0 MB

Same issue here. Was fixed for a day after updating GeForce 9800GT, but it's back at it again.

I'll offer two suggestions... first run microsoft update... http://www.update.mi...icrosoftupdate/ pick "custom" and download all the optional and any hardware updates. Often, those "unnecessary" optional updates are really quite important for gaming.

Second, make sure to submit an official troubleticket with EA... sure it isn't going to be fun, but if this is actually something processor related (I think it's somehow tied to the AMD X2s) then the only way to fix it will be an official patch... and you can't get an official fix if they don't know about the problem. Plus they usually prioritize fixes by the number of complaints and ease of repair. More complaints equals more importance...

AMD dual-core optimizer fixes this. Here's a link:
