Just saying, Shepard and all the crew members would remain as unplayable characters. You could interact with them, do missions for them or just run an errand. You could still be good or bad, human, turian, quarian, etc. Update armour, weapons, and abilities. Travel the universe, buy upgrade a ship, establish a crew, etc.

Yes. But please dont make it crappy turn based play. I want real time combat like ME has now. Also no degrading the graphics!

Valid point, I wouldn't see why they would change the style of the game, it would be unwise to do so.

To get the widest possible target audience (people with crap pcs, bad gamers e.g 12 year olds that plague mmos) and therefore make the most $$$.

I'm sorry but after ME3 i think no matter how good the spin offs are there never gonna match up to the original trilogy, there just gonna kill it, slowly but surely.Posted Image

I wouldn't want that, becausew MMOs never make it to 360 and I can't afford a gaming pc.

But if you introduce it right the first time, people, especially kids will adjust to gameplay quite easily. With so many mmos out there and the likes of WoW, it would be wiser to approach and attract the current mass effect players. Otherwise they would stand a great chance of failure against the already established mmos.

Don't worry they'll dumb the graphics down like they always do just for people like you.

Kids are easily put off things that are difficult. The current combat system is far more difficult than a kotor style turn based system. And mmos have to bring in a lot of people to justify continuing to support them as they are a money sink.

If they are wise they can bring it to 360, Final fantasy did/is. And as far as the story is concerned, after ME3 they is no more shepard story, you cant kill anything finished, besides it really wouldn't have anything to do with current storyline other than a mention here and there, kinda like history.

No one.

This is a retarded idea.

And it has been for months since the first person suggested it.

Go play WoW if you want an MMO, but don't destroy the Mass Effect universe with it.

Can you imagine?

Questgiver, "d00d, we needs mor EEZO. Go to x location and kill y many EEZO monsters and collect z many EEZO crystals and come back and I givez you 30EXP and 50 credits."

MMO Player, "Hurr hurr hurr, I has a big import'nt quest. Derp de derp! Hur hurr hurrrrr!"

No MMO. I don't want some MMO doing to Mass Effect what it did to Warcraft.

No need to insult us for expressing an opinion. A lot of people like mmos for the social aspect and Bioware have shown they are open to them with the soon to be released SW:TOR. This thread is just speculation, I'm sure we are all fine with the ME games staying mostly single player.

I just like the idea, because of the possibilities, I dont care for WoW universe. There will always be two sides to this coin, you either like it or hate it. I doubt they'd ever do it. I just like the idea of searching everywhere with out restriction for the most part.

Hey now. I play MMO's. I don't think I've ever said "derp". I might have said "hur" when I was mocking someone.

But as an MMO player, I'm not sure ME would translate well. I mean, it COULD but I don't think you should be able to interact as Shepard. And then people who have played the trilogy would want to be Spectres. And then everyone would be Spectres and it wouldn't be special anymore. You'd pretty much be reduced to fighting an endless stream of pirates or something. And people would complain that we have a huge galaxy but can only go to a few of the planets.

I don't think I'd play it.

Lol @ nerds insulting other nerds, because of the types of games they play.

Anyways after ME 3? Sure i wouldn't mind an MMO. If SW:tOR ends up being a big success I wouldn't doubt us seeing a ME MMO sometime down the road. Now if Star Wars bombs I doubt EA will be willing to sink any more money into MMOs anytime soon, especially if the rumors are true and The Old Republic is the most expensive game ever created.

I could see a multiplayer-FPS-based Mass Effect game, but an MMO would be difficult to put together considering the way they're taking the Mass Effect trilogy.

I wouldn't be surprised. The game is turining out to be pretty damn epic.
