happy: saw kick-ass and it was very fun

pissed: It seemed the guys that worked on my car today didn't tighten down all the bolts so now I am missing one on one of my tires. I realized the PO Box I put down as address for the bazaar prize is probably not going to work. People that tailgate me when I'm going the speed limit(or even a little over) and then decide to speed around me going 10-15 over the limit.

Time to take that fascination to your local MMA gym or BJJ Academy then :P. Not saying you should give up the firearm (hell no, hang on to that) but it is great fun. Lack of funds made me stop (gettin' fired in this economy) but it is hella cool. Gotta make sure the training is legit, so check out Bullshido.net. Plus you may be able to find a Gracie Barra in your area since they're everywhere.

I'll consider that.Right now a serious health issue needs to be dealt with but I thank you for your politeness and the information as well.Image IPB

Nothing like training your body to overproduce adrenaline and become berserk. Rage is the best anesthetic ever; it´s free, it´s legal and makes you feel relaxed afterwards. Along with sex, some of the best cures for stress.

You´re just so cute and lovely that you cannot be real.

as real as the sun rising in the East everyday. Your one of the few who don't judge me and took the time to see past what I say to find the real me and so for you I'm the real me and not the one others see here. You Ser are a rarity yourself and like some others here see past the masks I use to bait and confuse.Thats why me luv you so muchyImage IPB

I feel you on the serious health issue Lilith. My right shoulder hurts like hell with too much jiu-jitsu (probably not the same thing you mean, but I can dig it).

In terms of berserk Stat, I find that in grappling, pure anger is a little distracting. You can't think, flowing between moves becomes harder, and the key aspect of jiu-jitsu (being relaxed) is out the window. That isn't to say I haven't found berserking useful for a quick boost of energy. Saved me from submission by collar choke plenty of times.

I don't really like sports on a whole, but the one on one aspect of combat or sport has always held big interest for me.

Oh totally. Just you and your opponent, nothing else. Allow any outside distractions to sneak in and you won't be focused enough to see that the armbar -> sweep setup is in bound, or passing the guard will seem impossible. Besides if you went to train, than whatever issue is bugging you can wait till afterwards.

That´s why you have to train it. Adrenaline "shuts down" your brain most elaborate functions. You´re not rational and analytic anymore and you just act; and well, you do not fill pain and you do not get tired nor sore.

So, becase you force your own body into its most feral state, training is what also forces it to work in the pattern you want it to work. After some time, it´s like swiming or riding a bike, it becomes automatic and the more you do it, the faster and better you react.

And well, it also kept me up and walking with a nice cut through my whole back or one of my legs covered in ashes, so... :D

Well I guess we shouldn't let it drop then eh?

Most people think that "This punch will end me" and then when they find out that it didn't, they feel better. That doesn't mean you should go tempt a trained boxer to smack you, that WILL end badly. Just that the human body is less fragile than you think. Like with running barefoot. It's natural, your body knows what to do, you just have to listen to it and get over the initial hurt of your skin being raw.

I see what you mean Statulos. I was once told that it was the difference between anger and aggression, but it's the same thing really.

I see the difference between anger and aggression as I have been the recipient of both. If you did not know and some of the new people here do not as I've learned,I was born a male but now through surgery am female. Many find that unacceptable and I have not only been the receiver of aggression but raped also. Perhaps one on one is why I find that type of aggression to my liking as the rape was gang rape, three teens when I was younger,> I am ok with it now and I think and perhaps more understanding of hate, bias and bigotry because of it. I hold no anger towards them as I have learned to accept life on life's terms but I did learn to shoot very well alsoImage IPB

People have archived this by means of alcohol and drugs, but there is no need for any of those to reach that.

And it´s not like "train with Tyson" to get it, not even about being skinhead beaten on a normal basis. In my case, just the act of getting geared up, in box formation and holding the weapon and shield is enough to "make the gears grind". It needs time, but it definetly works and when the first strike of steel hits, the rest goes by itself.

Not really certain what I can say about the rape thing Lil. I'm glad you've carried on, but seeing as I have never been in said situation I don't really know what I can say that won't feel hollow and lame.

Just remember in terms of the guy -> gal transition, it isn't what you had that's important, rather it's what you have that is.

End of the week is coming and my I just forget basic procedures like this. Give me some hours and I will not be able to write anything except Spanish with an ortography that makes goats puke.

and regarding the previous, Lilith; I´d tell you that the best steel is the one forged with low temperature and hard hammering. You had a ton of both and you´re still here; they´re not.

Does this mean the world is fragile or does it mean the world is imperfect? Or am I missing the point entirely.

thank you for accepting me as I am. I expected no responce to the rape thing as like you said it would be hollow. Your honesty says more than any sympathetic reply could ever say. And I'll boast here a bit;I am attractive just so you don't think I'm butt ugly.lol

Pissed: FOX News is just driving me crazy with their blind idiocy in regards to this new Arizona immigration law. There will be racial profiling with this law, and the fact that people are just glazing over it and shouting about how there isn't any in the law itself is driving me nuts. Makes me miss the healthcare debates - .-.

EDIT: No problem Lady. Being ugly or not wouldn't have changed what I said though, just so ya know.

I could have serious issues if I lived down there. I´m a perfectly legal resident but as you can imagine, I don´t walk arround with my passport...

My dad (the Mexican half of my family) would get hasseled something fierce. I look white (thanks to Mom lol) so I could skate by, but that doesn't keep me from getting angry about this. I especially hate how this has now further split the Republicans. Like somehow championing racism is going to get more votes.

My anger engine is running at full tilt.

it means whatever its supposed to mean to you, while to someone else it may mean something different. The answers are never cut and dried, they require a person to think,to evaluate and yes,to wonder if thats what I mean.Image IPB
