Atheism is not a belief in something, or even in nothing, but a lack of belief.

Most Atheists are not angry at god, they are angry at people who worship god.

Its hard to hold a grudge against something that does not exist.

I suggest we drop this subject before the thread gets locked.

i was just fine until i made the mistake of paying money to see the american. gawd, what an awful movie! the only redeeming thing about it is that the woman who plays clara has an awesome rack.

Happy: After tomorrow Witch Hunt and Shadowbroker DLC come out!

Sad: Today's Sunday that means sitting around in a religious building with people that have a penchant for singing.

*shrugs* Are you athiest/not religious - can't you just... not go?

Meh, in my opinion Atheism is it's self it's own religion.

true, a belief in nothing is stil  a belief

Very true Lilith as in the definition provided below, but in my experience Atheists are driven more by an anger and even hate towards God which in my opinion negates their disbelief. A person with a true lack of belief in a God should have no feelings what so ever about the topic, and I have yet to find one that is trully emotioned disconnected from their stand.

belief - 5 dictionary results

be·lief   /bɪˈlif/ Image IPB Image IPB Show IPA –noun1.something believed; an opinion or conviction: a belief that the earth is flat. 2.confidence in the truth or existence of something not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof: a statement unworthy of belief. 3.confidence; faith; trust: a child's belief in his parents. 4.a religious tenet or tenets; religious creed or faith: the Christian belief.

Wow, at all the atheism controversy! All because I asked a guy if he could avoid church (I'm assuming he meant a church?)...

By the way, atheism itself isn't a religion - having a belief in something doesn't necessarily make you religious. Also, for some, atheism can be the belief in the idea that everything started naturally, without a deity, but for others it's just a lack of belief in any of the religious deities that our species have come up with. I think it's important to understand these distinctions. /sorry couldn't resist

Yup much cheaper... and aren't the warranties on pre-built machines generally pretty pathetic anyway? Like 1 or 2 years? Most parts in my machine have warranties that last for donkies...

Sad: Lotsb came out today and I'm still in SE Asia for a week...

Well, on the bright side of that, you didn't have to go through what every other PC user is going through right now in regards to the LotSB download. Keep relaxed in Thailand. Beautiful country, once you get outside of Bangkok.

Happy: I have the Witch Hunt DLC

PO'ed: I have the Witch Hunt DLC and it's buggy. DC was lame, Awakenings was thin and bug ridden, Golems was dull and now this. IMHO exactly one DLC was worthwhile. I'm mad at Bioware and I'm mad at myself. Mostly I'm disappointed.
