I created a mage in the editor and it looked cute at first but in game looks like she has downs. In any case I'd like to share how I used the editor to fix this.
Create a new game and redesign the characters face using any race or class combination (other then mage the fade distorts your appearance for the first 10 mins of the game)
Then open up the *.das file using the toolset.
From Top Level Struct > SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR you will see SAVEGAME_PLAYER_MORPH
It does not have a value just right click it and select copy
Go to the same spot and right click SAVEGAME_PLAYER_MORPH and select paste values
Hope this helps.
Found out how to change your character's face

I had already figured this part out.
My question is if you can copy the appearance of a NPC. Specificly I'm wanting to copy the appearance of the Templar in the Chantry whom you turn the bandit quest to.

I heard messing with the face messes up your save game. Or is that the dev console way of doing it?

Just go here and be done with it.

The character creator is gimped anyway, the toolset gives much more flexibility in designing faces.

What else did you do? That's not working for me.
