This mod adds four tomes to your inventory that will allow you to upgrade or downgrade the material tier of your equipment.
- Two of the tomes will upgrade or downgrade the tier of the materials in your inventory by one.
- The third tome will upgrade the equipped items to the maximum allowable tier for their required stat. Note that if an equipped item raises it's own required stat that the bonus for only that item is excluded from the stat total when determining the maximum allowable tier. This will allow you to unequip and reequip the item.
- The fourth tome will upgrade all items in inventory to the maximum allowable tier for their required stat.
The stat used to determine the maximum tier is taken from the character that uses the tome.
The tomes are added back to inventory after use. Material tiers 1 to 15 are supported but Dragon Age Origins only define materials up to tier 7 (tiers 8 through 15 are the same as 7).
Only items that support some sort of progression are modified.
Support for Awakening is planned for the future.
