Uh, okay? All I'm saying is that both Tali and femshep know they can't have children with them. What's your point?Lucky Thirteen wrote...

As valid as saying that femshep may want children.kglaser wrote...
OK...so the wanting a child thing is valid. But how long do quarians live anyway?
*sigh*
Is tali a doomed romance?

I don't know, but it's really only the non-Tali/Garrus/Thane fans really even talking about it. Apparently, women are unable to supress an innate desire to have children, in their mind.jtav wrote...

But... if it were a non-quarian baby, yeah, that could certainly happen.

Well... adopting... what kind of baby would they adopt? If you're saying Tali would want a quarian baby, that's probably not going to happen. Can't see the Migrant Fleet just handing those out, can you?

The Flotilla is over crowded, I don't think it's impossible to find an orphan with parents killed by the geth or something. I doubt they will go the adoption route with any romance interest, even Liara's.
Babies need those bubble things, though. And they need to be kept in very specific environmental conditions. They're very fragile. Probably couldn't take one off the flotilla.

They don't exist, but now I want to see some fanart depicting one!!
It better not be a calculator or something either.

Adopting does not necessarily mean you are by their side at all times. You can still act as their "parent," and they will eventually grow out of childhood. Babies need those bubbles, but adoption is not always babies, often it's toddlers+ and not infants.Nightwriter wrote...

I know I brought the issue up, but only as a POSSIBLE point of tension, if they decide they want children later. I enjoy making arguments and counter-arguments for relationships. You should see my list for Miranda.

Miranda is a different case. She's human and we don't have any indication that she is infertile. With Tali/Thane/Garrus/Shepard, they all know ahead of time that they cannot have children. It's not like it's going to suddenly dawn upon them "Wait...I can't have children with you?!!!111" they are going to know already.jtav wrote...
