[The Affliction]

So I just bought Dragon Age today for my PS3 I got it home and redeemed the free codes for Shale and the Blood Armor and they both show up as purchased and all good in my downloaded content, I havent created a character yet as I am trying to figure out how this ring thing works before I do that. Do I have to download the character creator from the bioware website and use that, or can I just create them on my PS3 and it says upload the character to get the ring, im assuming its to my EA account on this site but im not sure how to do that or whether to create a char from my PS3 or from DLing the character creator on my pc and using that? anyone know?>
