Haven't seen any bugs personally, beyond a few little graphical things (Fingers phasing through your arms when they're crossed being the most common). Then again you're on PC and I'm on PS3, so different versions will have different numbers of bugs.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Do you honestly believe that a company that has been around for 15 years doesn't test their game?

Turn off DEP, it's useless. Windows "services" like that are responsible for more crashes than anything else.

There was another guy before with a windows error reporting utility going crazy, everything went fine after he turned it off.

The top level bard song also locks Leliana in place I believe (this is just from memory of the tooltip, I've never used it).

How many day-1 PC game releases have you bought in the past year?

This is the smoothest, by a lot, at least for me. I would to thank Bioware for bothering to release a finished, polished game, something that's increasingly rare in the games industry these days it seems.

Seen a couple of minor things so far on the 360 version after 20 hours play but nothing extreme or game crippling yet and considering how big this game is I was expecting so many more just out of release. Fair play Bioware. :)

If you are experiencing bugs though, check out the technical forum and see if there is any help for them or explain what they are over there and something might be done about them. :)

No crashing bugs or anything like this.. but the skills and combat system seems cookie-cutter-ish.

Dagger-wielding rogues are gimped.

No class-based skills work with archery. (unless you want to see your character run up next to your enemy with his bow to fight with the 'below the belt' skill)

I have set up tactics for all of my tanks to be aggresive. enemy->all->attack...
yet at the start of a fight, if my main character is hiding in shadows and the enemies do not see ME then my party and the enemys just stand there.. right next to each other doing nothing.  Neither side will attack unless the character that I'm controlling is seeable it appears. I'm trying to lead my party into a group while moving silently so that my rogue doest get target so that I can do some backstabbing.

Just because im moving silently doest mean I want my party to stand around doing nothing when enemies come into sight... If I wanted them to do that then I have the option to 'halt' everybody which is now pointless since they do that anyways..

I don't know man.. I'm trying to enjoy this.. I just feel like I'm being forced into certain builds do to shallow game dynamics.

Learn to use the tactic slots. Probably a big reason for companions ****ing up things.

I have only encountered very minor bugs in the game, such as Wynne not healing when she's supposed to, sometimes. That's usually fixed by controlling her for a single spell and then she goes about her business again. I would also like the AI to be more agressive, although that may just be personal preference: They only seem to attack something after I start doing so, even though they are set to nearest visible.

It's hardly gamebreaking but it can be a little annoying in the bigger fights where I need my tanks to take action immediately (I usually just control them briefly to initiate attacks to get around it).

Building computers =/= having a knowledge of a os and its services.   Also "OMG I HAD A BUG THE DEVS MUST BE LAZY AND MORONS"    **** happens take it to the tech support where it will actualy contribute something of value.

ah i see, and the people who assemble car-parts in a factory can design cars and motors because of this? Seriously, you don't know what you're talking about. You have no idea what a game that "hasn't been tested" looks and plays like. Not many people are able to even grasp the complexity of such a product, let alone know how to fix it.

i never said anything about the devs being morons. only about the testing part of the game and you have no idea how much knowledge or lack there of .concerning computers or the programs and services that run within it ADDICTION21

Come on now.  There are certainly some bugs in the game but nothing that qualifies a statement like no beta testing was done.  Could have been better...could have been a hell of a lot worse too.
