Want to know what's sad? I am talking to all of you more than I'm talking to my actual friends right now, lol

It's ok, I shunned my real life, although technically I'm watching the most terrible movie I've ever seen on Sy FY and taliking to my real friends about how terrible it is. I'm really multitasking right now...:D

Yeah, I suppose that's one way to look at it. The level of satisfaction of directly helping people is high.

I talked to him before the final auction, he asked me for advice on what to go for, I told him what was left and he just decided to go all out because he didn't want something he could have gotten a long time ago and/or something someone else really wanted

Wow, there really are some high quality people in this community.

Side note: Did you ever win the books you wanted? Or did you go for something else?

I did, I got the signed DA book set. I was going for either book set, and the fact I got the signed one was sweet!

I'm surprised it took him so long, bet if Jigpig wasn't being horrid it might have had a chance to reach its full potential

Meh, I don't blame him for closing it. The thread hasn't had anything to do with the auction for hours.

Yeah... kinda my fault :P Had to report him and it brought the thread to Chris's attention, I guess.

I wonder how long it will actually take the prizes to make it out to the winners?

6-8 weeks...maybe less. I hope so.

Something tells me the winners will have to fill out an affidavit or something.  I've had to do that when I won a prize from a contest.  =_='

There's too many people that are homeless with nowhere to go right now, a group will take too long to make. Besides, this technically is a discussion about auction aftermath, it's not competely random chat.

That's what I would have done, technically those glasses are worth more than the hard drive anyway so you made out, I think that was the last pair of Gunnars to go up to auction

I guess it's all for the better that our hangout is no longer associated with the Bazaar. I don't want to get infected with fail. </burn>

It got closed due to a troll infection, although I agree with you it realy had nothing to do with the auction anymore. I just don't have anywhere else to go tonight :(

That's true.  But I got sent one even though the prize was $5(50?).

In any case, those that win the more expensive stuff are probably gonna have to sign some forms.  >_>'

Lol I was just thinking about doing this.

Anyway, I can't believe Merin lost the final auction! I feel so bad for him :'(

Lol, me too.

Watching Merin lose was like watching Yoomi get sniped a trillion times again...:crying:

Lol I saw that happen, looked frustrating. She did win something right?

I'm not entirely sure all the posts during the auction had anything to do with the auction...

He probably already signed them, as far as I know only half the DA books being given away were signed.

I think you have to at least show proof of age.
