I would have got those books if I didn't already have them... Not signed, of course; but hey, signature isn't a big deal to me personally. I'll just read them and accidentally mess up the spine and ruin any value it has. I try SO hard not to put creases into my paperbacks, but its inevitable =/marquiseondore wrote...
I want Gaider to take his time if he hasn't signed any of the copies they auctioned yet.
I once refrained from opening a paperback novel all the way just to avoid it. But near the middle of the book, it got too hard to read the words so I was forced to, putting several creases into the spine.

I guess it's all for the better that our hangout is no longer associated with the Bazaar. I don't want to get infected with fail.
It got closed due to a troll infection, although I agree with you it realy had nothing to do with the auction anymore. I just don't have anywhere else to go tonight
I'm considering treating myself an N7 hoody after this whole contest, but I'm gonna give BioWare one quick chance to redeem themselves here. A slight discount is all I ask for!
And before you ask, no, I probably wouldn't hate the Bazaar so much if I'd won something.

In other news I finally beat Awakening the second time and must say the final boss is much easier than the Archdemon all you need is 1 alive ranged fighter
Don't spoil it for me I've never played DA...I really need to pick it up soon but I don't want to pay $50 to get it on Steam

That's what I would have done, technically those glasses are worth more than the hard drive anyway so you made out, I think that was the last pair of Gunnars to go up to auction
well i was hoping to get part for my computer im slapping together...
but the glasses increase my geek cred at least
oh and sometime id love to swap opinions with you over what i should put in my new rig....
i dont have many people around here who are up on that stuff... as all my RL friends get me to fix thier stuff...

I know it sucks man, but you had fun right? By all accounts I should have walked away with nothing, but not sleeping at all and being around at just the right time allowed me to snag a win, even with the insanity bids.

Anyway, I can't believe Merin lost the final auction! I feel so bad for him :'(
Lol, me too.
Watching Merin lose was like watching Yoomi get sniped a trillion times again...
Lol I saw that happen, looked frustrating. She did win something right?
Yes, she walked away with an ME Pack. And thanks for the support and clicking
I was happy to!

But yeah, despite everything I did and all the sleep I lost I was always at least 1000 tokens short of the average winning bid. So it didn't paid off. Still, I'm glad it paid off for some of you

You know, in all honesty, I don't really feel that they need to "redeem" themselves. They did their best to create a fun event, but left enough ends untied for them to be exploited. All in all, it was impossible for EVERYONE to get a prize. It all depended on your ability to collect clicks for the two weeks, and win Twitter challenges.
I'd be more of an avid computer builder if I had money... 18 years old and trying to finish up High School with a bang. I do spend a fair amount of time on Newegg, though. And luckily there is a Fry's Electronics near by.ice445 wrote...

Meh, they should have at least put a cap on the amount of tokens you could get from referral links, and made twitter wins the real way to get ahead. At least then it would have been random chance, like any other contest.

I'll get angry only if in another 2 months the Bazaar prizes suddenly start popping up on ebay.

Really? You have to time it right. You can get 100+ damage using the ballistas.

At this point I think I'm already projecting my bitterness onto everyone else and I don't want that, but what irks me is that a person can spend as much time with this contest and lose as much sleep as I did and still walk away completely empty-handed. BioWare fooled me into thinking I had a legitimate chance of scoring something when I really didn't.sage_viper wrote...
