I think you did have a legitimate chance, you were just a few hours behind honestly. You were right on the border to being able to win something. Hard work did help a lot in this auction, but only if you knew you could solicit 500 points from clicks every day :/ I didn't figure that out until late tuesday, by then I was way behind. But I toughed it out, and got lucky with Twitter.

You know, in all honesty, I don't really feel that they need to "redeem" themselves. They did their best to create a fun event, but left enough ends untied for them to be exploited. All in all, it was impossible for EVERYONE to get a prize. It all depended on your ability to collect clicks for the two weeks, and win Twitter challenges.

I'll get angry only if in another 2 months the Bazaar prizes suddenly start popping up on ebay.

Honestly, if I had won a computer, I would put it up on Ebay faster than you can say Broodmother. The specs are alright, but for the money one of those things can fetch, I could build something WAY better than it. Besides, I only really want a new CPU and a sound card.

Yeah, that seems like the smart thing. It's got great specs, but the value of the case alone is probably over 9000, so you could build an uber computer if you sold it. If I had won it I would have sold it too, because I can't cheat on my current computer, that would be wrong

In other news I finally beat Awakening the second time and must say the final boss is much easier than the Archdemon all you need is 1 alive ranged fighter

I found the Archdemon easier. 

I didn't use the ballistas, but my warrior did more than they did anyway

Really?  You have to time it right.  You can get 100+ damage using the ballistas. 

I found Buffs+Blood Powers+Dwarfs = destruction

Comparitively for Awakening Valenna+Stuff+Vulnerability Hex = Dead Boss
well that was after I killed the hirdes of darkspawn

I cheated my first time around on Awakening.   I was nervous about the ending and wanted to see what would be the best possible one before I imported my Noble Queen.

well i know im going AMD quad core one of the black edidtions preferably....  and using a 5770 not sure on which brand yet...  ive read good things about XFX and MSi's im gonna go with a single vid card so im not even going to worry about a mobo with multiple PCIe slots. 
gonna go with 4 gigs ram... maybe 8 if i can afford it...

def goin with a SSD for boot.. a 30 gig should do.  and then a drive for data..

gonan use a V8 cooler
and the thermaltake v3 case has been winking at me

key is im trying to make it as cost effective as possible.. under a grand or cheaper if possible...

It should definitely be possible, as I said I was able to keep mine ~1000 with a new monitor included.

How exactly do you cheat a boss fight?

I just did my Vigil's Keep and killed playthrough (to avoid spoilers). I enjoyed my ending interesting what happened to Natheniel

i have a 23 inch HP flat screen for work and using an extra 32 inch sony bravia as a game screen.

Haha, yeah that honestly was the hard part about the decision... I really love Dragon Age, and I would have to really consider selling that one. But the ME2 case, I think I could have departed with a bit easier...
