@Sage It varies by state. In some states it is 18, in others 21. It's is state regulated, rather than federally.

I LOVE FRYS

Except the closest one is in Wilsonville... which is quite a vast distance away from Portland, where I live, especially when I don't yet have my license. Luckily, though, we have a pretty awesome public transportation system.

its used...and always on sale...

Lol!  Back in my homestate there is a used bookstore that also sells used DVD (anime included), used books (manga and strategy guides included), used video games and consoles (from NES and up)...etc.  I never miss an opportunity to go there.  I would spend all my money there if I could   Most of it is in amazing condition.

Yeah I know that. Ice just said that she was too young (when she's 22) to buy alcohol, and I had never heard of any state that has the law over 21.

But where abouts do you live?

i miss germany... being stationed there was the best 4 year vacation ive ever had.well apart for the whole having to go to iraq during part of that vacation....

There was one in the Valley a block away from my last job.    I'd go on my lunch break with my co-workers.

Well, when I was there it was any age to drink, 16 to buy beer, and 18 to buy the harder stuff.

It just may be the bartending age then that I'm thinking of.  I know at one point it did vary by state.

I guess I'm an old timer at 38 years of age. I'm actually drinking something with alcohol in it right now. Not a beer. I can't stand the taste of it. I actually only started drinking alcoholic beverages just a couple years ago.

Well, when I was there it was any age to drink, 16 to buy beer, and 18 to buy the harder stuff.

yeah thats the actual rule...

but over there drinking is a cultural thing....
they actually have kiddie beer over there..... its alot like bud light...
and womena sometimes drink half cola half beer....

i cant fathom that...

after coming back from germany i cannotdrink american beer anymore... its a disgrace.
