Hi,

has anybody experienced stuttering in cutscenes (those with ingame graphics, like meeting Leliana in Lothering) up to the point where everything just freezes? If yes, how did you fix it? Once the scene ends everything is back to normal.

Funny thing is that with 1.0 this did not happen. Only since I installed the toolkit and the patch.

This happened to me in exactly the same spot - meeting Leliana. The dialog would stutter, slow, and finally everything would freeze (in my case, I couldn't ever get past that dialog). It started after installing the toolset, even though I never touched the single player campaign with it, had nothing in any override or module folders or anything of the sort.



Uninstalled everything, wiped all traces of DAO from my system, reinstalled game + patch + DLCs, but not toolset, and no problems since.

I'll try renaming the directory and then reinstalling -- which would mean that the toolkit is still useable (maybe with back- and forthrenaming) -- first.

Don't know yet if it will work, but if you start and end the Bioware SQL by hand you can at least rename the directory...
