I have returned my copy of Awakenings to amazon.co.uk. Order no: 203-0961289-2543530I encourage others to state how they returned there copy of Xbox 360 Awakenings here:

Reason: When I imported my male Human noble character from Origins, who had married Anora and had Alistair kill Loghain, his history was ignored and Alistair arrived at Vigil's Keep as king. This spoiled the immersion of the character enough for me to stop playing.

There is a forum post here: http://social.biowar...7/index/1785536

Bioware at the time of writing have not issued a statement about releasing a bug to fix this and other major Awakenings issues. As we are not PC we have no immediate work-around. I am returning this item. A first for me with a game.

Xbox 360 version returned. Gamestop was very kind about giving me full credit for it (mainly due I feel to the manager having similar issues and being dissatisfied with it as well (or so he said)). My main issue was the loss of several characters equipment in the silverite mine, some things which I had spent a long time amassing and Velanna's quest getting broken. I would have been happy shelving it until a patch release. Unfortunately, to me I felt there was a definite lack of response from Bioware on these and other issues and I was unhappy enough with it to let this one go. I feel there's great potential here both in the created world and the execution of it, but it definitely needs more polish for my money.

I apparently screwed up when I downloaded DA Awakening into my XP admin account. That is, however, where I put the DA Origins. I can not see it in either my user account or my husband's. I did not have this problem with Origins. It was just necessary to log into my Bioware account. I would appreciate any possible solution. Thank you.

Well, it seems BW/EA is giving up on Xbox... I wonder if the lack of a patch is a strategy to drive clients away, just let them down and wait until the waters are less revolted...

Dont buy addons, before companies showed support for their product. Easy that is. I havent bought Awakening and Im still alive. Still waiting for that Title Update#1 what was promised around christmas. After that I may consider buying Awakening. But come on....There is so much else to play on Xbox360 :)

I refused to purchase the expansion. Due to this mess, I've also returned the original game & got a full refund. I'll repurchase it 2nd hand if the original game if ever patched.

I also tell everyone I meet that they should NOT purchase this game. It's a shame really, the game could be really good. But someone in the chain of command really screwed up.

Its very disappointing from a developer I've come to trust as a guarantee of a good gaming experience.

I think getting rid of the original game may be a bit harsh (but hey maybe you didn't enjoy it as much as me). But I foolishly downloaded Awakening from Live which means NO REFUND. Looking back, I placed way too much trust with BW to buy this expensive piece of **** with no security. Posted Image

how nice of you. you return a game you already registered so someone else who buys it can't. if you were a game company, that would be a game breaking bug.
