I cant seem to play Dragon Age Origins if I have Spyware doctor open. The launcher opens but as soon as I press play it comes up with not responding.

I'm not very computer literate, could anyone help? I'd rather keep my antivirus running while I play. Never had this problem before with a game whether it be single player or mmo.
