Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9550 2.83GHz 8,00GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4870x2

i have only managed to get to character creation two times before game crashes and sistem reboots
normaly it just shows the intro and before the main menu appeares it crashes and the sistem reboots.
i have tried everything i have read, and still havent found a solution, i pre-bougth the game on steam the deluxe edition.
havent
been able to play the game at all, just frustrating and a real shame.
is there someone that can help?
or should i just wait for a new update.

I've been dealing with this since I bought the retail version on the 3rd. I cant get to character creation, it always crashes after the new game intro.
