I am having trouble completing the Shale Quest line.  I have killed the village, and am into the cellar.  But I cannot get through the barrier. There is no one I can click on to talk to.  It's frustrating.  Any suggestions?  I also tried to force load without the DLC, but it didnt fix anything.

The purple barrier with people behind it after you clear the room? You should be able to click on a person behind the barrier and talk to them to load a cut-scene... I just did it 10 minutes ago...

doesnt work, there is a bug. i can't click on anyone behind the barrier to push the quest forward

I'm having the exact same problem, cleared my way down, nothing to interact with at the bottom ....

On that little raised platform next to the barrier is a stand with a book/scroll you have to read first before you can interact with the guy behind the barrier.

Ive looked literally everywhere, and there is nothing for me to interact with, this is the first time this game has had me stumped.



Still thinking my version may be bugged. Ive tried several times force loading and still nothing. Not game breaking but would quite like to have experienced shales quest line :S

Did you hold down 'Tab' button and look around the room?
