Isn't New Shanghai supposed to be the most important city on Earth in the Me universe since China owns the largest chunk of the exoming market?

Here's what should happen...(this is going to be a part of my fan fiction, so don't any of you dare steal it):

Before the final few prothean survivors died, they discovered a possible way to destroy the reapers, once and for all. They hid their creation on a primitive backwater world (Earth), where it would be safe from harm, and so that the reapers could not find it.

ME3: the reapers attack earth first, you go to save the planet, and find that they are looking for something. As you fight your way through the reaper ground forces you find more and more data saying that they are indeed looking for something. You enter a massive cave, and see a strange device. It is a large four pronged device. On top of one of the prongs you see something very familiar...One of the silver Prothean orbs (those wierd floating balls)

Praise be to Dr Cocteau! Now lets all adhere to the Verbal Morality Statute and tune the radio to a wall-to-wall mini-tunes station! My dog's better than your dog... :D

Oh, Jack would love that particular future ^_^

I say we should go to London... streets turned into canals by the rising sea level, looking something like Venice meets Blade Runner. Would totally rock.

I agree... I am sick of New York being the central location in so much dramatic story telling. I would like to see somehwere exotic and strange. For example when I was in the Air Force I got sent TDY (temporary duty) to Kuwait. I remember getting off the plane and walkng across the tarmac and hearing the muezzin call to prayer... it mad ethe whole setting seem so foreign and different than anythign Ihave ever expierenced. Bearing that in mind I hope they add a new city to the globe that really has its own feel and sounds.

in what almost 200 years? and billions more people, there won't be any seperate cities on the continental US, it will be one solid city from west coast to east, so would be San NeYor or New LoAngle

If by "Africa" you mean "Asia", then you would be correct.

No, Asia will be the super power for the next 100-150 years. Then it will be Africa. Possibly South America will be somewhere in there as well.

For Africa a possible spot for a visit would be Ethopia, the excavation of Lucy's fossils

Apparently, New York City (accoring to Bailey's comments) isn't the safest place on Earth. Which is why, if anywhere, it'd probably be there.

If it's anywhere, I'd like it to be recognizable.

We can see Earth from orbit. It's not.
